Disney Tattoos

I got a Mickey head as a tribute to my dad...strange , I know.

My dad worked hard his all too short life.
He was a typical old school Scot and could not show is emotions,good or bad.
That was until he found WDW,he was a different person there.
My happiest memories of my dad are him just " gettin the Magic " and lettin loose.

I had an idea of what I wanted but could not find a picture or explain it right to the artist.
I was going today on a wing and a prayer...until I decided to dust my WDW art an hour before leavin.
As I took a picture down the Note of Authenticity fell out and bang,there it was.

The studio I went to has a hook up with the Miami Ink guys and I was super nervous to tell the guy what I wanted.
I thot they would laugh me out for wanting a disney tatt but the guy was actually really excited to do it.
He got that it was meant to be a brush stroke and as an artist he loved that.
He said when it heals the affect will be even better.

Scotlass: I love your new tattoo! That is a very original Mickey head and it looks like it's on your foot? Love it! Mine is on my foot as well, however it is not a disney tattoo. My next two will be though. Great story to go along with it too.

I am looking at the exact Mickey head on the frame of a sketch I bought at WDW at the Art of Disney store!!! And I considered getting the same thing, but I've already got a Sorcerer Mickey and want to do something Mulan next.
He did a great job!!!
