Wondering if those who have issues with LGBT rights realize that the company is a supporter of rights for that community and that a huge percentage of CMs are part of the LGBT community. Does that bother you? :scratchin

And they have every right to do so just like CFA has every right to express their views on what they belive marriage is to them. This mass hysteria is becoming hysterical.

:lmao: Too bad I never ate there much to begin with....I could use a nice addition to my Disney Fund. :thumbsup2

Honestly, I could care less about either company's stance on the issue.

:thumbsup2 I love Disney & I love CFA!!! CFA employees are awesome and some of them are even gay.......:goodvibes

You know, I really don't care which company supports what. I choose to spend my paycheck where I want to, support things that I want to--why should a corporation or a business owner not be able to do the same with their profits?

Regardless of my personal beliefs, the CEO of Chik-Fil-A has a right to an opinion just like everyone here and so does the Disney corporation and whomever in that company makes those decisions. That's how it works.

We each have the freedom of speech in this country and the CEO put his in action. But more than that, we each have the ability to make our own choices as to what is right and wrong FOR US. We each have the ability to develop our own belief system and what we believe to be morally right FOR US.

So, IMHO, he is not wrong for supporting what he feels is right and neither is Disney.

Just make sure when you make your ressie for your vacay, you set aside $ for your souvies.

:rotfl:

Oh: and we need yet another of these threads? The first 3 locked/deleted threads weren't enough?

Good....this means that it will help offset the CFA chicken sandwich & waffle fries I will continue to eat.

I really don't care in either case....I like and will still go to CFA and I like and will still go to Disney. The political and religious beliefs of either company just dont concern me that much.

Was this thread really needed though....like all the other threads around this topic in the last few days, it will end up locked in the not so distant future.

Time to go make some popcorn::

ETA: Back with popcorn and grabbed a wine cooler too. But, It is my last bag. :scared1:

The COO of CFA isn't taking flack for his views. He's taking flack for donating to hate groups and his inflammatory remarks when he thought he was preaching to the choir and nobody else was paying attention.

I think what the OP had in mind was to have those who posted in previous threads vehemently supporting both the CEO of CFA and his views consider that they were doing so on a Disney message board - Disney being a supporter of LGBT. If one chooses to make a consumer decision based on their views on political issues, then shouldn't those decisions be consistent?

I hate to see the obvious question be avoided in all of these threads: why is anyone ramping up their fast food eating habits in a country battling obesity issues? I think the real sin of CFA is what they sell you, not what they stand for in the same sex marriage debate.

Oh goodie here we go with that "hate group" phrase again

Just because the Southern Poverty Law center claims it is does not make it so!
