For those of you who have experience as cast members, I was wondering if Disney has programs to support getting advanced degrees? In other words, many companies will pay for employees to get an MBA or other masters degree related to their jobs. Is the same sort of thing in place at Disney?

Thanks!

I do know that they do have what is known as a Professional Internships.

where it is geared towards a more "direct" career field.

hopes this helps!!

I am pretty sure Disney does pay a portion for classes if it directly related towards your job. For example, if you are in the human resources department they might pay a portion for classes towards a degree in Human Resources.

Disney does offer a tuition reimbursement program for educational classes directly related to your role (or in consideration of future roles you may have with the company), but it does not encompass a full degree program. There are also limits in terms of how many classes that can be reimbursed in a single term (the limit is presently two). The answer is along the lines of "yes, but not everything is inclusive".

I believe you must have at least six months of service, and the general manager in the area must approve of it.
