This will be a trip for just me and my DD7... I do not want to lug a stroller everywhere especially on the busses.

I was thinking if/when she gets tired we can rent a park stroller. My question is if she is 7, she's very short for her age. I'm more worried about her weight she's 55 pounds. Will a park stroller work for her or is she too big?

I don't know about fitting, but I believe the only place to get a stroller is the front of the park. Would you be willing after walking about for a few hours to trek back to front of park for a stroller?

I think the Disney single strollers have a 50 lb capacity, but you could get a double and have the extra space to put a bag, souvenirs, popcorn bucket, etc.

one thing to think about park rental strollers is they can not go out gate to buses in the evenings. is she going to want to give up stroller when tired and walk the distance to the buses. I would also do a double not a single at her age

Rent a double at the park and then you can put a backpack in the stroller too. That being said, the park strollers are hard and don’t look very comfortable. At 7 she will probably be fine walking. Also, a lot of the walking is getting to and from the parks, not just in the parks.
