Disney stores closing

The Disney store has been shut down at our mall and I can't believe it. I am so upset and disapppointed. then I went to visit my grandparents in Connecticut and we went to the mall and their Disney store was gone,too.

Preaching to the choir here. Richmond, VA used to have two Disney stores and now we don't have any at all.

We used to have two also lost one about 4 yr ago and the other about 2 yrs ago. I could always go ther and find something my kids would like.

I know it! I'm from CT and had two within 45 minutes of me (I live in the sticks) and now I have NONE!!!!!!!!

We've had 2 within a 50 mile range close. Our closest one closed back in June & we couldn't get the Disney dollars then. We wanted to surprise the kids with some on our Aug trip...but no luck!!!

We have had a real hard time finding any Disney stores as well. THe ones we used to visit are now all gone. Someone told me they are still online, but it's not the same.

I know, it's almost like people just don't like Disney as much as they use to. It's really sad.

We used to have 2 here in Jax, now we have 1.

Our mall in Orlando (Ocoee, FL) had a Disney Store but when we went in August, it was gone. (We moved away in Jan)

A few years ago we had 4 within 20 minutes from here. I worked at 2 of them an planned to retuent this year (now that all the kids are in school all day.) They closed on then another then another and we had jsut the one for several years. It just closed down this past spring. I miss it very much and am sad to not get to go back to work there...

The one on Novi Michigan also closed this summer -I was SO sad. They never seemed to be hurting for business - why close?????

I had one about fifteen minutes from me here in Ct. then i took my son school shopping and it was gone! so i went online to see if any more had closed around me and it said the one in farmington was still open. but then three days ago my future SIL said it was now gone!!!!! The only ones i know that are open are in MASS and thats a trip for me!

Just wanted to let you know we were just at Westfarms Mall this weekend and the disney store was open! We were so excited because the one we usually go to in Waterford is gone

It's definitely open - we had dinner at the rainforest cafe then went upstairs to spend money in the disney store!

Never been to Chester! Now I will have to make a trip to West Farms!!! I am excited to know that I can get Disney Dollars(i hope). I dont like the idea of contacting disney directly to get them. I use them as incentives for my son and stocking stuffers and just because i love you's...So he can have his own money in the "WORLD" he feels super special when he gets them!

I used to love the old one at 12 Oaks (before they moved it)!!! It was so huge. The newer one was nice too (pretty fitting room) and I was sad to see it close. I grew up near there and my grandma still lives there and would go there to get my girls stuff there. Mine are all gone too so I was hoping at least hers would stay open.

BTW, I grew up in Plymouth. My first job was at 12 Oaks (The Limited.)
