Disney store will have pins!

I was at my local Disney store today and they a sign up that said they will start selling pins on September 22 and that a new one wil be released each week!!! My son collects the pins and up to now they have not been available in the Disney store here! Looks like we'll be able to get some now!! It must have something to do with the 100 years of magic- the timing would be right.

Do you know if this is for all the Canadian Disney Stores ? I've been calling mine for awhile and they haven't heard anything about pins.

I did not read the fine print but I don't see why it wouldn't include all stores, they did have a big poster type sign by the cashiers till. Hopefully they will have it all stores !! They don't start selling them until Saturday so mabey you'll hear something yet!

I think it's all Disney Stores. The one in Hamilton Ontario has a sign and an empty rack waiting to be filled on Saturday. New pins will arrive weekly.

I was at the Disney store today and they had a selection of 8 different pins, a tigger, pooh, ariel, eeyore, minnie mouse, walt & mickey, and two other mickey ones. They also had a pin collector book and case( 1 of each). There were quite a few pins out in total. I look forward to seeing what they will release each week as I want to get a few as x-mas gifts for my son as he collects them. Today i purchased the walt and mickey one. Happy Shopping!!

Picked up the first set of pins this morning. There were a dozen people in line (including a man with a lawnchair), before the store opened.
The CM's weren't allowing any "holds" on the pins, and you were only able to buy one set per person. I was able to get a 20% discount with the DC card.
I returned this afternoon to pick up another #1 pin, but all the pins were sold out.

Wow! My store was not even close to selling out. I was also told while in the store on friday picking up another gift that if I couldn't get into the store for the pins that I could call and they would hold them for me!! The CM even pulled out her list and told me what pins they would be getting in when I asked them if they had any idea of what type of pins they would be getting.

I was reading some of the posts on the Collectors Board regarding these pins, and there doesn't seem to be any consistency from store to store as far as holding pins or how many sets people can buy.

Snowwark- I have to agree about the consistency as I was also reading some of the treads over on the collector board. Pin collecting must not be popular here in Winnipeg as our 1 and only Disney store had plenty of pins today when I was there, certainly there was no one lined up to buy them. I did not even buy the whole set. I figure that I will just buy what catches my eye to give as a gift to my son.

I was in the Winnipeg Disney store today, (Sunday) just after opening and all of the #1 pin s were sold out!

I accidentally just found the Canadian Board and am very excited.
In Calgary we have two disney stores and were able to get 6 of the 1st 8 pins, were unable to get tigger or pooh because they did not arrive in calgary at all. They are hoping they will come for next week.

I got a couple of the pins I ordered today :0) I was told I could hold them and then pick them up when I phoned on Friday and when I phoned on Saturday I wasn't allowed to... so, after phoning the Disney Stores in my area I found two stores that weren't willing to hold them but were willing to pay for them over the credit card then ship them to me. The Disney Store I usually go to was sold out of number one in 15 min. That surprised me since, when they gave the free dalmation bean bags away hardly anyone lined up.

The Disney Store in Hamilton, Ont. was sold out quickly. They did hold for some people I was told. I never thought to call ahead. I didn't think to do it. I only wanted pin #1 but was out of luck. If anyone knows where I can get one let me know. Thanks.
