Disney store online?

You can, but the shipping is outrageous!:scared1:

It's been a couple of years since I've priced things on there, so it may have changed with the dollar, but I suggest you price out the shipping first. Good luck!

Edited to add: you may be able to find some items on ebay, but unfortunately you may still get dinged at customs.

I believe they ship UPS, so you'll not only get hit with PST/GST/HST upon deilvery but also duty if applicable.

Yah the shipping is absolutely ridiculous, it starts at like 9.99$ for a few items and them jumps up in like 10$ increments the more items you buy.

The best thing to do is to buy before your upcoming WDW trip, and have it shipped to your resort. That way, you don't have to pay the ridiculous shipping fees. That's what I did on my latest trip and it worked out really well for me.

Last year I ordered a 3 foot sully for my son's birthday. At that time they calculated the shipping, taxes and duty at the time of sale. Then it does not have to go through customs at the border, not sure what the service is called but Oriental trading Co. uses the same service. anyway it was about $15.00 to ship the sully. Not bad in my opinion.
FYI there is no duty on toys , but clothes made outside the U.S. was 18% last time I checked:scared1:

Last time I ordered, the duty and taxes doubled my order.

We did get some great stuff, but wow that duty stuff kills you.

Took the words out of my mouth.

Yep, smart people here. ;-) We've done that too. Had it waiting at the resort when we got there, the kids got to START their trips with a few new things (bought on sale of course!), which was a lovely treat after a long day of travel, and decreased a little of the "Mommy I want" for a while.

Hmm, I haven't ordered from them for delivery to Canada in a while. Maybe this makes a difference.

I will add that there have been times when the online prices were totally worth the shipping I paid b/c I would NEVER get the stuff I got for the prices I got it...I have a Winnie the Pooh t-shirt that was $2, bought lots of stuff for the kids that they have since outgrown...so it's worth looking, but don't commit yourself until you find out how much it's gonna cost to get to you.

The shipping is outrageous. I ordered a Mulan costume at Halloween and for the $40.00 costume, it was about $20.00 for shipping.
Last night I was going to order a few things for the kids for Christmas. My $55.00 order would have had $25.00 in shipping added! Not such a bargain anymore so I decided not to put the order in.
There are so many sites that have free shipping, it is really hard to pay so much. However, now I will have to live without the Disney stuff I was going to buy:confused3
