Disney Store In Ocala

If I wait to purchase my PH tickets at the DS in Ocala, Fl on our way to Orlando--will I still get the discount (early) ticket price or will I get gate price?? Does anyone know?? Also, is it cheaper to get tickets through AAA???

I do not believe there is a DS in Ocala. What is there is the Welcome Center, you CAN purchase your passes there. I do not know the price of the passes.

AAA may save you a couple of $$ over the gate prices. I've been told that you now can only purchase passes if you purchase a travel package through AAA. I don't know how accurate that is.

The Welcome Center does sell tickets, but I don't know how much they charge. It IS a nice stop along the way, and we make the stop every trip down.

I don't know the definite answer, but Disney was trying to get their guests to purchase passes before they left home. As I understood the new policy, NO discounts are available once you arrive in Florida. That includes Disney Stores located throughout the state.

I don't recall if the center in Ocala is associated with AAA any longer. If it is, that might be the exception to the new rule.

I just purchased my ds ticket from there a few days ago and the cost for a 4 day hopper was $169.?? I think this is gate price although I am not sure. I do know there are a lot of places you can purchase them online if you have the time you can either have them sent to you or you can pick them up as a will call in Orlando and it will save you a few $$. You can order them for pick up just a few days before you need them from some of these places, I had to do it last year.

I spent quite a bit of time here and on the different websites comparing prices on tickets.

I needed 2 adult and 1 child 7-Day Park Hopper Plus tickets.

I am a Disney Club member and their prices were equal or just slightly better than AAA.

When all was said and done, www.floridaorlandotickets.net was the best price across the board. I ordered securely online on a saturday and had the tickets in my mailbox the following wednesday (four days including a non-business day - pretty fast). Shipping was $7 priority mail but there was no tax. Even with the shipping, these were much cheaper than walking into a Disney Store and buying tickets and paying tax. And they were overall (for all three of us) $40 cheaper than through the Disney Club. Hey, that's forty bucks we can spend at WDW!
