I'm beginning to wonder if I don't "need" to visit this store when we land - can't imagine why, but now that I know it's there.......

Is it necessary? If so, should I tell limo driver to come later?

Or is it something we can hit when we're killing time on the return trip. (if dh MAKES us return)

I've only been to the Magic of Disney store (B Side) and it's not worth a special stop. It's small and has basically the same stuff that is in the stores at the parks or downtown disney. I sometimes walk through it if we have extra time on our return day. A good spot if you forgot to buy something. One time I wanted to get my mom disney chocolates but didn't want it sitting in a hot car. So I bought it there.

The limo driver watches your flight #, you really can't tell him to come later. If you checked luggage, you want to get down to baggage claim to get it.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Now, I can stop worrying that I'm missing something by not stopping there!

I can't imagine planning a trip to Disney without this board! :earseek:

Just curious...
Is there shop called "Disney Earport" (not sure of name) as well as a Disney Store at MCO?
If so, what's the "Earport" store have?

Thanks:)

I agree with Debbie. The Disney Stores at MCO are nice for to kill a few minutes if you have time to spend when returning, or maybe a forgotten item for someone at home. They are no different than a TDS at home. Though I must say they make me smile as I hurry from the plane to baggage area each time there, sort of says, 'Yeah, you're here'. ::MickeyMo :hyper: ::MinnieMo

Mark, the Earport is just a name they gave to one of the Disney stores there, nothing special nor unique. I do think it makes for a nice picture though....

I like visiting the MCO store, It is a good place to jumpstart the pin trading with the kids, and you can buy AP if you need to before you check in. Other wise waiting until leaving is good too.

Historically, you could also get activated APs there (both the Earport and the other one). I believe this is still the case, at least AllEarsNet.com says you can. Tho you will not likely need an actual activated AP in hand to get your AP rates, it does set the mind at ease know that you could produce it right away if you needed to; so getting them at the Earport might not be a bad idea.

I was considering sending DW up for APs while the kids and I are in the car rental line whe we arrive in November.
