We are doing a split stay in January and I’m wondering if it will be closer for us to travel to Disney Springs from the Polynesian or the Beach Club? And, what is the fastest mode of transportation?

Beach Club is definitely closer; see the link at the bottom of the "Parks and Tickets" tab on the Disneyworld website for a property map. Buses go directly between the resorts and Disney Springs, but service can be spotty (we once allowed 75 minutes to get from DS to GF and ended up 15 minutes late for our lunch reservation because of a shift change for drivers). If time is of the essence, consider a MinnieVan.

BC is closest. Disney Springs transportation is notoriously awful! But we use Disney Transportation. We’re on vacation and not in a rush. If you want to get there in a hurry, use Uber or Lyft. I think it would be less expensive than the Disney Minnie van $25 blanket rate.

Thank you. I suppose I should have just looked at the map. On our last trip, it took us over an hour to get to Disney Springs, but I think it was our method. We went from Epcot to POR thinking it would be nice to take the boat. We didn’t plan on a ton of stops along the way at POR or waiting for the boat. Is our best bet to just use the bus from Beach Club?

Yes. But the boat from POR is fun! If you aren’t in a hurry it’s so pretty along the river.

Yes! We really did enjoy the boat ride. It was just really crazy trying to actually get there to take it. We were also on a bus that picked up two passengers on scooters and the ramp in the bus to load the scooters wasn’t working. It took about 20 minutes get it fixed and another 5 or so to load them. Of course, it certainly wasn’t anyone’s fault...it was just one of those experiences where you feel like everything that could possibly go wrong, does!
