Disney should just throw this witch to the curb!!!

What should Disney do with the 7DMT witch?

  • Leave the witch alone!!! Stop hatin'.

  • Get rid of the witch!

  • Move the witch to the beginning of the ride.

  • Other.

Ugh- her face and those creepy nails....yuck!!! This witch at the end ruins the entire 7DMT ride experience. After looking at all those marvelous glowing gems and pretty Snow White dancing...we're left with her gruesome mug as the final scene. Get rid of her, Disney....she doesn't add anything to the ride..... at least place the witch at the very beginning of the ride so we can forget about her!!!!

Update!!!!

Alright..... the council has spoken....therefore I will humbly withdraw and stop hatin' on the witch. :sad2:

I do have a lil bit of edumacation and what I've been able to pinpoint is the selection of words that I chose have strong stigmas and connotations attached to them. Next time when I decide to form a poll I will have to carefully approach the wording and construct the post from the same standpoint one would when.....let's say- a politician runs for office.

My post came across as shallow as if I were judging the witch based solely upon her outward appearance or looks. Stating that Snow White was "pretty" and the witch was "gruesome" directs the focus to just their looks. Because of that---- I unintentionally come across and sound like a bully and the witch gains sympathy points. Instead, I should have said that I found the witch to be scary or terrifying or evil and that Snow White was happy or cheerful or sweet. I just don't like that the scary witch is the final scene right before exiting the platform and being left with that image. I believe The Little Mermaid ride ends on a happy note and I prefer this kind of ending. Clearly- there are a lot of villain fans here so I don't know if the poll would have resulted any differently. But I did--- at least, want to clarify my issues with the scary witch. It's all good!!!! :thumbsup2

I do have to wonder why Snow White and all of the Dwarfs were invited to celebrate the press conference while the witch was noticeably absent. She was the only character from the ride who was not present for all of the festivities. :confused3

Honestly, I think putting her outside in the daylight makes her a bit less scary & easier to avoid.

Leave her...She is a part of the Snow white story and since they got rid of Snow whites Scary adventures, they need some place for her...and there isn't enough of the villains in the parks anyway

How can you have a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs story without the witch?!

Thought this was going to be another I hate FP + thread. Pleasantly surprised! Keep her. She's awesomely terrifying.

Wait till they sell her doll. They'll be snatched up like hot cakes.

Leave her be. The Snow White fairytale isn't complete without her.

She has to stay, I agree not enough Villains in the park. One of the things that makes a Disney film so great is the Villains. With out them it would just be Princess is born, nothing of any significance happened and she lived happily ever after. The End.
The Old hag has to stay she is just as much to do with the story as anyone else, and she isn't in the beginning, that is the Wicked Queen the old hag is much later in the film, closer to the end.

I'm just shocked that there is something out there that ruins the 7DMT experience for you.

Agreed. The ride hasn't even officially opened and we already have complaints? :rotfl:

She's part of the story, the witch should be there.

I agree with you.

I don't think she shouldn't be in there. But she should have been at the beginning somehow. I don't like that she's the last thing you see.

The review I read clearly indicates that the ride is setup for "the rest of the story." Don't you think seeing the Hag is going to make little ones ask, "Who's that Dad? Mom, what happens next?" So you take them home and watch the movie. Or seek out Snow White in the parks and ask her. This is Disney, and what Disney does best is tell stories. Disney's best rides aren't just about a thrill or a sweet vignette.

My girls hate the villains and will avoid the Hag if they can, but she needs to stay so we can hold onto the heart of the story.
