hey!:wave2: I was just wondering what kinds of disney scrapbooks are available: who are on the covers? Also, which style is the best, ie. post bound, binder, etc.? Your help is appreciated, thank you very much!

Did you mean what is available in the parks or what is available elsewhere?

There is an online place... think it is www.lakeside.com. It is sort of a discount store. They currently have a princess book, a Mickey book, and a Pooh book available for $19.99 each (12 x 12 ).... they each come with some stickers.

I know that Creative Memories also has one or more Disney scrapbooks available.

That is all I know about for "out of the park" scrapbooks... and I'm sure that there are some beautiful ones available in the parks. I know that they come out with one with the year on the cover... not sure what else they had... can't remember all the way back to January! Maybe someone else can chime in.....HTH.......P

BTW, welcome to the DIS.... I just noticed this was your first post! Glad to have you aboard!................P

When I was in the World (End of Sept.) There were a couple of different scrapbooks. Only 2 I realy looked at was the Disney World one (dark bkue with character and year on the front) and they had one that was green with 04 and Pooh characters in the numbers. The thing I remember most is the cost. For some reason, the Pooh book was discounted to $13.99. The other was either $35 or 38. Pooh is my favorite, so I went with the Pooh Book.

Wow -that princess scrapbook at lakeside.com looks just like the one I saw at my LSS for $30!

hey!

Thanx for your posts! Yes I am going to Disney World in Dec. so I am going to try to find some of those albums there. Thank you all for your help!::MinnieMo

Hey Ally -
Just took a Disney trip in early Oct. Originally purchased a scrapbook at Epcot with a blue 'fuzzy' flocked front with areas for photo inserts in the cover & 15 pages included inside the book that I believe was $28 - later when I checked out the store at our resort I found a brown 'leather' scrapbook with Mickey embossed on the front and it had 20 pages inside, the lining of the book has an antique appearance with Mickeys and the phrase "It was all started by a mouse." - I fell in love with it and was excited to discover it was on sale for only $13.99!!! The gracious CM's at the resort allowed me to do the exchange. All I have to do now if find the time to create some pages.
I guess my advice is to shop around at the parks and don't forget to check out the shop at your resort.
Enjoy your trip.

Hey Calebs Mom - I just got back from a trip to WDW also and I happened to be at DTD in line at the SB store there and overheard the sales girl tell the customer in front of me about the leather scrapbooks that were going to be coming in the next day and that they were discounted. Well I knew I wasn't going to make it back to DTD I figured I would just look at the resort gift shop and sure enough I found them and was so thrilled that they were only $13.99. I saw the same scrapbook at one of the online sites for $40!!! I am glad I decided to buy my sister (who was on the trip with me) one of these scrapbooks for Christmas. Now I just have to get to work on scrapping the pictures from our last trip and then I can move onto the trip we took in March.

Do either of you have the sku# for the leather Mickey album? I am going to call Disney merchandising to place an order and I would like to try to add that.

Thank you!!

Sorry no SKU # here - already removed the stickers and price tag from the book - sorry!

Sorry just saw this post today. And I happen to have both books right here in front of me and they both still have the sticker so here is the SKU # 400174787811 underneath the SKU# it says M1002 not sure if that means anything or not.
If you go to this website the album I am talking about is the very first one on the page Faux Leather Mickey Album - I see they reduced their price here but still not as good as the $13.99 at WDW.

Thanks for the mousememories website. I have been wanting to scrapbook our past trips and my DD 10 is interested and will be purchasing items from here for her bd in December and Christmas.:D

I got a scapebook on the cruise as well. It comes with some stickers pertaining to the cruise and then you can buy other collections about the cruise.
Let me know if you need more info. I have been so busy I have not opened it yet.
