Can you use your rewards card points for dinner here or any other place that is not on the dining plan? TIA

It's my understanding that your rewards card can be used anywhere in the "world." I've got a reward card that I'm taking with us and I was going to use it while dinning our way around the F & W Festival. Someone let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks
