disney rewards card timing

So I already ordered and received both of our Disney rewards cards since our old ones were expired as we didn't go since 2 yrs. ago. (and of course put the required 10 or 20 dollars of points needed to get them)
Can't remember how long I can push it before I have all of my rewards points transferred over before our trip since I want to get as much as I can on there. Is it an instant transfer or do I need like a couple weeks or more? I think it should be instant but wanted to be sure.
Or do you all just transfer early what you have and then closer to you can just transfer the rest of what you have available up until a certain time?

The transfer is instant. You are correct in that they have to be available (previously earned from a closed billing cycle). I transferred my after the last statement closing date (we leave for WDW next week).

I think I did it while we were in Disney. My billing period ended on the 2nd to last day we were down there, I called, had the balance transferred and spent it the next day, so it is immediate.

What I can't recall is the minimum amount needed to transfer. I think there is an amount and I want to say $25 but I may be wrong on that.

Do you have to wait till the end of the billing cycle? Or can you pay off early?
