I was looking for hotel reviews on trip advisor and found Orlando restaurant reviews. I took a peek at the WDW restaurants and thought I would post them in order and catagorized parks. According to trip advisor there is 1244 restaurants in Orlando. Not all of WDW restaurants were on the list. I do not recommend this list as a resource for choosing ADR's. Ok so let's start.

love TripAdvisor...good to read reviews by "real" people. Have found many a good hotel when we're on the road by looking up the town we'll be stopping at on TripAdvisor and finding the top-ranked hotels (then of course I read the reviews to find out WHY people are ranking the hotels that way...sometimes the rankings are not based on what I'm looking for, KWIM?)

Anyway, looks like a lot of the TripAdvisor rankings are similar to what you see on here (Like Crystal Palace & Le Cellier ranking high...they do seem to have a lot of fans on Disboards & allears, too.)

Yea I love Trip Advisor too... I always go there and do research when planning a trip.
Thanks OP for your research - it is very interesting!!
:hippie:

I love TA too!! I usually don't use it much for trips to WDW but totally rely on it for all other vacations.

I found it interesting that Biergarten is #2 on the Epcot list. We really like it but it "seems" less popular on the dining boards than a #2.

We use Trip Advisor a lot for hotels and have found it very helpful. I'm not so sure about this restaurant ranking. This may reflect people's opinions and tastes rather than the quality of the food. I like Le Cellier, but no way is it a 6 in my book, nor is Biergarten a 20. The fact that Bistro de Paris is 289 tell me not to put much stock into these rankings.

I love trip advisor and had actually searched orlando restaurants last week to see the ratings. I found it funny that Red Lobster was #17! That kinda throws you off in the sense of who is rating these restaurants? LOL No offense to Red Lobster, but it isn't exactly worthy of being #17 out of 1244 restaurants. Their food looks good on the commericals but once you eat it, you regret it soon after as they drench everything in butter. I was not surprised to find Victoria & Albert's at #1. Although it is very expensive, it is well worth the price as you get what you pay for. And I was very glad to see the Miller Ale House in the top 10 at #5. That place is great and I love that they have branched off into Long Island with 2 locations near me. Good and cheap eating! Oh and what is Perkins doing at #20? That place is terrible! There is no way that Perkins should be a 20 and Narcoossee's a 99! It's not about the price, it's about the quality and if these raters are going to say Perkins quality is better than Narcoosee's, well then I think that their judgement should be questioned lol. Either way, this is a great little search on trip advisor. Thanks to the poster for listing all of the restaurants at Disney and their ratings.

The key here is that on Trip Advisor... it is also about the price. Places you get reasonable food for not much money will rate high.
If you want gourmet reviews, try ChowHound.

Thanks for the effort! It is much appreciated. And yes - I work in restaurants, and oftentimes people are willing to trash you for the one time they tried to flag down a server but didn't manage to catch their attention. So, read them, but definitely go to a couple other sites to compare before you pick (or drop) your reservations based on this list. The best place for reviews anywhere is going to be Open Table - they rank lists for various factors, so you can see the best in any category for your dining experience - but unfortunately, that's only for restaurants that they can make the reservation for, through their own system. A sad fact, because their reservations system is so much easier to use than Disney's new online one!

Seeing as how Bistro de Paris, only slightly below Victoria & Alberts in food quality, presentation, and service is the lowest ranking TS at Epcot, I put no value in this list. I've eaten at all but one TS in Epcot and there's no way Bistro would be last.

I have to wonder when they place Sci-Fi above Brown Derby. :confused3
But guess Sci-Fi appeals to more than BD. :confused3 Food-wise I do not know how they could be compared.

By no means did I post this as a reference for choosing a restaurant. I found it very amusing how they were rated on a website not Disney related. A lot of places were missing and some places were below McDonalds or Taco Bell. I agree that the list is not what I thought it should be and hope everyone will get a laugh out of it.

I like Trip Advisor and regularly review and contribute, but just want to remind everyone that they have not published the formula for the ratings, which is a bummer because I like to know exactly what that rating means. Also, one important component is that the ratings are based on popularity (not just pure satisfaction/rating) and it seems that it is not only how many people rate it but how often it gets searched for, read etc. Sometimes a 3-star rated place will be ranked higher than a 4.5-star rated place.

I think it is funny Boma is higher than Jiko and WCC is higher than a Chef restaurant (Todd English's Bluezoo) I found this kinda fun and interesting haha..I usually go by what sounds good to me and not others (im more of a try first for my own experience type!)

Thanks for a fun giggle at some of the orders.
