kimmar - here's another to make you home sick. WL is our favorite. We love staying there during Christmas. This was the first time we had a courtyard view, last December They were working on the water from the lobby to the pool all week.

someone asked for vero pics probably 2 yrs ago in the thread...

this and the food picsthreads make me want to get a smaller camera i won't mind toting around

We spent a whole day doing just that. We started with the Pop Century (where we were staying), we parked at EPCOT and rode the monorail over to the Polynesian for breakfast, then took the boat over to the Grand Flordian, then back on the monorail and over to the Contemporary, from there we hopped on the boat out back and went over to Wilderness Lodge where we had a late lunch. From the WDL we took a bus over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. When we were done touring the AKL we took a bus back to EPCOT to get our car.

It was alot of fun seeing all the christmas decorations at each resort as well as taking the time to really see what each resort was really about. We decided to make this a day where we would kick back and just enjoy WDW since we were leaving the next day to go on the 7-day cruise.

I love that you can take the monorail around the resorts at Christmas.

another day another pic...Funny Vero is the only resort i ever took pictures of, probably cause i wasn't in the parks all day..this is the mini golf and water thing/ play area with the pool slide in the circular light house looking thing and the pool way in the back

Thanks for the POR pics daannzzz. It's been awhile since I've stayed here (12/98). Looks like they remodeled the room a bit. I don't recall the tile floor by the sinks or the white curtains hanging behind the beds ? Maybe my memory is just a little fuzzy, but the rooms look really nice.
