Disney reserv. site up but no new packages yet???

I don't believe there is no official information in what is all included in a package. We are only guessing that it is a base ticket, but it might not be. My AAA agent who went to the Disney training said she thought it included the hopper option. But buying tickets only we know there are those options but when it comes to packages, I don't think anyone knows for sure what Disney is going to put in a standard package until Disney tells us.

The package price I get seems to match what Disney is quoting.

Beginning January 2, 2005, a 6 night/7 day Magic Your Way vacation package for a family of four starts at less than:

$1500 Value...

6 nights at Pop Century (regular season, rack rate)...663
3 Adult MYW Base Tickets for 7 days, 1 Child...806

...$1469 total...that IS "under $1500."

Price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child occupying one standard room during regular season in 2005. Lower prices apply during value seasons in 2005.

It seems that the BIG question is...can we book a "package" including the dining plan AND still keep our discounted room booked with a room-only reservation??? The package rate examples Disney is giving seem to be based upon regular rack rates.

Over on the budget board, someone posted that the CM told them that they would be able to keep their BDP code and still get the tickets and dining plan. So, now I have been told the same thing by 2 CM's and at least one other person has also been told by a CM we will get to keep our discounts with the new plans. We will just have to wait and see. :wizard:

That would be wonderful! It won't help me this year, as I've got an AP rate booked and the regular code has expired, besides I've got three trips planned in the next year (so I guess the AP is really what I need). However...I would LOVE to have the opportunity to take advantage of something like that in the future! What an improvement that would be over the DreamMaker packages! :cool1:

I will be jumping for joy if we get to keep our discounted room! :jumping4:
I really want the dinning plan so if I can have that without losing my room discount, well, that is truley Disney magic! :wizard:
