We will be taking our three boys ages 6, 8 and 10 on their first trip to Disney World in November. Is it worthwhile to get the Water Parks and More package for just the Disney Quest and Wide World of Sports? I'm not sure what they offer.

how many times are u going? ucan just purchase the tickets to dq and wws separately.

Quest is on of our kids FAVORITE things to do. It's not just an arcade.. its very virtual and hands on. Our kids were 8,10 and 12 first time we went and they wont here of NOT going to quest when we go to Disney :) My hubby and I like it too.. It has arcade games back when I was a teen and brings back lots of good memories too..

I am not sure about the Wide World of Sports, but DQ is a must do for our kids everytime we go. We usually buy the tickets for DQ through the mousesavers site. Last time, we did the waterpark and more addon because the kids also wanted to try out Typhoon Lagoon. I think normally I paid around 25-30 dollars through the mousesavers newsletter.

If your kids love video games, they will enjoy DQ. We usually spend about 5 hours there. If you are buying the waterpark/more fun ticket I would probably think about it budget wise. That being said, I really don't think I would take the kids more than once a trip. For me, I really am not so much into the video game thing and it gets a little too much for me. I often take a book to read while they are playing the games. Not knowing if your children (or you) would like to go to DQ more than one time, it may be more cost effective to use the Mousesavers Link. But, if you are planning on using the waterparks the add on ticket may be the cheapest route.

I have heard there is not much at the Wide World of Sports complex going on unless there is an event or training camp going on. I am sure there are others who know more about it that will be along shortly!

Whatever you choose have a great time!

In short, Disney Quest is five stories of video games/ virtual reality/ technological activities. My family has spent 8 hours at a shot here...easily! It is the most awesome arcade in the history of the world! IMHO!

I wouldn't get the extras if there wasn't time or interest. WWS is only cool if you have a sporting event there, and are going to be there anyway. Otherwise there is not much to do, especially considering all that Disney has to offer. DQ is fun, but would need many, many hours to explore properly. I would think you need to identify how much time you have to spend at the water parks and DQ to make the decision. Wouldn't even bother w/WWS. Would you go to a waterpark? You don't mention that. If you are not going to water parks, and WWS is a dud (trust me), what benefit would DQ admission have over paying at the door?
