While waiting on the phone my respervationist was telling me that we had to try Disney Quest - the pirate adventure, that my kids would love it. Now I am thinking... is this something my 2.5 year old can do, or should we not waste our time?

Thanks.
Margaret

We did not go there until my youngest was 8. We enjoy it, but I can't imagine a toddler would enjoy it and may even be overwhelmed by it all.

Pirates is awesome, but you are on a "boat", 3d glasses with thunder, lightening, pirates and their ships coming by.....you are shooting cannons trying to sink ships and naturally cheering and yelling as your "boat" rocks. I don't think a young one is going to find that fun.

There are a few things they may like, but not enough to make it worth the trip if you ask me. Personally, I would save it for a future trip ! That's what we did.

We did DQ with our 2.5 year old on our last trip, only because our package tickets included it, and our 6 year old wanted to go. We thoroughly enjoyed it, there were things for the little one to do, but we could have skipped it and he would not have missed anything. Most of the things he was definately too little to enjoy or too short to even do. The virtual reality things were over his head and would have frightened him, so I suggest you save it for another trip. You could probably do something else during that time that he would enjoy more.

We split up and while either DH or I went to DQ with the older boys, the other did something different with DD -- DH took her swimming in the resort pool, I took her shopping! :teeth:

That may be an option, it worked really well for us.

My DD is almost 3 years old (will be 4 when we go to WDW) and will not be going to DQ with us next month because she sometimes doesn't understand why she can't go on certain rides! So, instead of fighting with her the whole time we are there, she will be at a kid's club while DH and I play away at DQ!
