We are going to Disney in March and I was wondering if my six year old would like DisneyQuest and if it would be worth it to go there. We do go to Disney a lot so it is not like he hasn't been to the 4 main parks. How appropriate is DisneyQuest for his age? What types of things would he be able to do? Would my husband and I like it as well? Oh, my husband and my son are Playstation 2, GameCube and Gameboy fanactics if that makes a difference

Since your DH and DS plays all those video games, I think they will love Disney Quest. The only thing that could pose a problem is if he is too short for some of the games. I think there is like a 52 inch height requirement for some things like Cyberspace Mountain, but there are tons of other things video game lovers will enjoy. Check out this page:

The first time we went my kids were 5 and 6 and they loved it. We were there for 6 hours. As AZKathy mentioned there are some height restrictions. We all had a really good time and enjoyed a lot of the rides. The Pirates ride and the alien ride were my favorites. The kids loved the make your own roller coaster, but I didn't do that one.

Most likely your son will not be tall enough for the Buzz Blaster (bumpercar like ride) or the make your own coaster ride. My DS6 loved the pirate ride and the alien one as well. He was disapointed about the Buzz ride but still wanted to go to DQ again and again.

He will love DQ. My son is 6yrs. old and I know he would have a great time there. There are plenty of games they can play.

I was there when he was 4 and I decided not to take him then. When we go in Dec. I will be taking him.

We did it in Dec with my son who is 5. He and my husband are both video game fanatics and they loved it! Yes, there were a few things that he was not tall enough to do, but didn't care as there were still lots of things to do.

I, however, am not a game junkie, but enjoyed myself a great deal. We did the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and Aladdin Magic Carpet...plus, just enjoyed a good cup of coffee and some relaxing time..

My vote would be to do it!
