hI,
My kids (6 and 4) love arcades and are all excited about Disney Quest from the Disney Trip planning DVD. I'm wondering if going to Disney Quest is appropriate for their ages.
TIA!
Martha

I think they will enjoy it very much. It can be a little loud on some floors but if they have already been to arcades the noise shouldnt be an issue.

It is a multi-floor building and each area has a theme (action, create, etc.) Like the parks there are a variety of things there that cover all age ranges. For that age they should enjoy the create area very much as well as Buzz Lightyear which is actually a 2-person ride. Most people do one adult/one child and the adult drives the car and the child loads the "guns" with rubber balls and like bumper cars you drive around and aim for other cars targets.

There are some classic arcade games there as well. All kids are different but I think when you are there you will be able to decide if something is right for them. We observed a few things first before trying them out.

Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer.

Just curious, when did you go? When we went last June, my DS-6 wasn't allowed on the Buzz bumpercar ride thing because he was too short, even as a passenger. :worried: He's tall for his age, at the time he was just shy 48''. I was wondering if they changed it recently? Thanks!

According to the Dis height req. page: Buzz LY Astroblaster has a 51" height requirement.

to the OP, I think that your 6 yr old will definitely enjoy DQ. I have never been with a 4yr old but if he loves video games I suspect he'll love it too. There's a lot to do there so I'm sure they'll both have fun.
