So I just saw that luggage tags are sent with your magic bands, I did not realize this. We were actually planning on buying luggage tags. My question is, what is on the flip side of the luggage tag. Is there a space to put our name and phone # or is it the same on each side?

Ot but is that magicband pink or purple?

We'll be getting a green one, a pink one and a purple one. The girls outnumber me!

Oh, sorry...that was just a picture of someone else's bands. That one on the left is pink. Purple has Minnie and Mickey.

Thanks! My daughter got pink when we last went in 2014 but it wasn't that same shade as pictured. It seemed a more true pink. I picked purple this time since I love the color and it will be football season when we return. Go Ravens!!! Glad to see the purple us deep and rich.

This is the pink one I just got last week.

Does everyone get luggage tags?

Only those that book packages through WDW.

Not those who book room-only or dvc or other packages.

And fwiw I would never use those as actual luggage tags for flying. The possibility of theft and having them turn off in the machinery would bug me too much. They would be for road trips only. (In other words, for fun)

Thanks! We received them last time and haven't really used them. I just think these are so cute.

I always use my Disney luggage tags for flying (anywhere, not just to Disney). Wouldn't you write the exact same information on a luggage tag you purchase yourself? Why would someone steal my bag based on the luggage tag? And what do you mean "turn off in the machinery"? There's nothing to turn off - it's just a piece of plastic with your information on it. I guess I'm just confused...

For any non-Americans reading this thread, you will receive these with your magic bands at the resort. They used to mail them separately so we recieved them before we traveled. But someone at Disney came up with the brilliant idea of giving luggage tags to us after we have traveled. Only the Disney company could use this type of logic but then they do many things that show a disregard for non-American guests.

I was wondering if we would get the luggage tags. When we went years ago they mailed the luggage tags out with your other documents. Too bad they didn't mail them to Canada with the express tags.

We did not get any at all ( from the UK ) each time we have to ask. We always have to get what's left!
