Disney postmark

I've read only very old online articles about this so wanted to see if anyone here could confirm. Does Magic Kingdom still have a place on Main Street where you can bring mail for a Disney stamp (not a postage stamp - more like an ink stamp or postmark)? Everything I am seeing online is very old and someone commented they may no longer do this. Just wanted to find out before I lug some of my mail for friends back home with me to MK. Thanks!!!

I think there's a mailbox on Main Street where you can drop the letters in. Here is a link that might be helpful, it also tells you where you can find stamps.

I'm pretty sure this has stopped, sadly. There are mail drop boxes on Main Street that apparently were mailed with a Disney postmark years ago. But several threads here have stated that mail from those boxes just gets a local postmark (Orlando maybe). I've never tried it, though, so it might be worth 48 cents just to do it.

You can still drop your mail in WDW, but it will get a Lake Buena Vista postmark. WDW hasn't had it's own postmark in years.

Agreed. I'm not sure of the federal laws but I thought it's because there is no Post Office that is in Disney World so therefore, that postmark cannot be used. I can be wrong but if there's one goverment agency that has basically "control" over what they do, it's the Post Office. Not complaining about it but I don't think anyone wants anyone else to screw up their mail.

Last year, I tried postcards from all over Disney including hotel and the boxes on main st. They all came back postmarked the same. : ( I tried from various locations just to test it out but no different that if I had mailed from the hotel. So the tried and true answer is nada.

I just had this postcard stamped at the TTC..watch out though, the 3D postcards have a shiny back and the ink doesn't dry very good on them.
