Disney Platinum Status to MSC Black card

Really cool! We just found out that we can use our Disney Platinum status to get MSC Black status on our first MSC cruise.

We loved DCL but looked for a last minute Christmas cruise and DCL prices were so outrageous!

We can across MSC Seaside as an option and than found out about there Loyalty Status match program which made the decision easy.

So excited! Anyone that has a high status on DCL and wants to have cruise for less but have the hard earned perks should look at MSC.

Seems like a smart marketing ploy for MSC as they try to make inroads into the mainstream cruising market. It's a great way to get people who are loyal to other lines to give them a try. I was already intrigued by MSC from what I've read about them (particularly the private island they are developing). This only increases the interest.

Over on cruise critic someone said to be sure and read the fine print. To MAINTAIN Black Card status after the “trial” you have to cruise them again in a set period of time.
