Disney pins - carry-on or check-in

I tried to search for this, since I'm sure it has been asked, but had no luck.

I'm flying Southwest if anyone has had experience with them and wanting to carry-on Disney pins. TIA

They're fine in your carry-on.

We always put our Disney pins in our carry-on bags and have never had any problems.

We've always put them in our carry on and there has never been a problem.
The only problem we ever have is with our daughters nebulizer. They always pull our bag and take it out and wipe it down with some chemical. There must be something inside that triggers that. We got back on Sat and had a slew of pins. Don't worry.

I have flown a lot of times with my pin bags and lanyard being packed in my carry-on bag and I have never had any problems taking them on the plane. Sometimes they have been looked at when going through security and there have been other times when they were not looked at.
