I just couldn't resist posting this old newspaper photograph here today. So, sorry if I may be breaking the "rules" since it's not of a Disney park, but this time I'll ask for forgiveness rather than permission!

This is a photo I clipped from a Los Angeles area newspaper sometime around 1964ish. I was 4 at the time (okay - now all of you math nerds know how old I am! ) but I just had to have the picture of Mickey for my scrapbook.

I did post this on the Community board, but I have no idea who any of the people are except for Gene Autry over on the left. But isn't it a hoot to see the old likenesses of Mickey and Goofy?

Anyway, enjoy ...

We take our plastic rain jackets with us and keep going. It's amazing how people leave when it starts raining but ti's great for us who stay.

Wow, that is neat! I have a Life Magazine from when WDW first opened and I'll see if I can scan some of the pics from there and post them.

What's a little rain at WDW? It'll take more than that to stop me. Throw on a poncho or raincoat, hit a store, go for an indoor ride, or grab something to eat. Why leave? Hey, whatever, like you said it just befenits those eho stick it out.

Does anyone have a pic of the Crystal Palace? I feel like celebrating, today I booked a dinner ressie for our Feb trip. Have never eaten TS at Disney before and this will be our third trip!
