Disney Picture of the day Part 5

thanks guys... here's a larger version if anyone wants it.

BTW - My wife won't let me bring the H2 in fear that I'll be stopping every 5 seconds to take a picture (I guess she knows me too well). So I guess the pocket size T9 is what I'll be using at Disneyland. I kind of decided that I wouldn't be doing a whole lot of photography on this trip anyway being my first trip and all. I'd rather just soak it all in and enjoy the atmosphere and save the photography for the next trip...

First I want to say how much I LOVE this thread! It is so magical to see everyone's BEAUTIFUL pictures. :cloud9:

I just couldn't resist commenting on this picture. We have a grey version of this bird that lives at my family's pond most of the year. When my sis was little she called it "Whoa-ie" (like "whoa look at that!") The name stuck. We still have "whoa-ie" birds come visit us every year  Good to know we might see "Whoa-ie" at WDW also :thumbsup2 even if my sis won't be there to see him;)

Keep posting the Wonderful pictures! We won't get back to the World til September, so I need some Happy thoughts to get me through till then :goodvibes

That is an egret. They frequently visit all the theme parks in Orlando, looking for hand-outs. They are very atrocious at Sea World, where they will steal the fish that you feed to the seals/sea lions, dolphins, and stingrays. They are also fun to watch.

i don't blame you. it's nice to just enjoy all the sites. instead of thru the camera! besides it gives you the excuse to go back!!!!

Brad, what time was this?? Extra Magic Hour morning? Were you the first one in the park?

Great pic - I love the ones with no one in them!

I'm guessing Crystal Palace or Cinderella Castle breakfast...

close.. i'll have to check the exact time of the photo if you really want to know, but it was taken at the beginning of the the magic of our steam trains tour, which meets at 7:30 am, so it was shortly after that, probably 7:45 am. so i got in even before the 8:05 breakfasts did.

Being an avid Beatles collector, I never miss these guys! They are the best! Blurry picture, but you get the idea.....
