Disney Pens at Deals Nothing Over A Dollar

Just an FYI for those of you who have a Deals Nothing Over A Dollar store near you. (We were specifically at the Howe Ave. store in Cuyahoga Falls, OH next to the Petsmart.)

DH and I were there over the weekend and found 3 styles of Disney pens for $1. The designs were Disney Princesses, Pooh and Mickey. We bought a similar pen at AK last year for about $6. These pens are fat and are great for character autographs.

Here is a pic comparing both pens:

As you can see, except for price, they are identical. The princess pen grip looks different from the AK pen, but it is just the way it is turned. They are indeed the same. Just thought some of you may be interested.

Good excuse for me to go shopping again. I had to go to Home Depot, so I might as well stop in at Deals too.

JKanownik... I live in North Hill. Where do you live? Sounds like close by if you go to Chapel Hill.

We live in Cuyahoga Falls right off of Bailey Rd. It's near the Wal*Mart on Graham Rd. I am originally from Firestone Park in Akron, but DH and I moved here to be closer to work (Hudson).

My dad used to live in North Hill on Villa and my grandpa lived right behind him on Victoria. I have some friends who live on Dan St.

It's a small world!

Very small world. I live off Howard St about a mile from the Akron/State Rd bridge. We do everything in Cuyahoga Falls.

After reading this post I couldn't wait to get there and I was worried ours wouldn't have them. Last night was the first oppurtunity to go and without my son. I bought 3 of the Mickey's and 3 of the Pooh's. Two for each of us going on our magical trip this month. I am sending my mom her's with her Mother's day package and I am going to try to save my son's until we leave with some other goodies. Only problem is hiding mine till then. I am so excited about our trip that I am not keeping any secrets right now.

Good Morning!

I would love to find these pens for my daughter! What a bargain! I don't think, though, that I have ever heard of a store by this name in Miss. where I live. We have Dollar Tree and I think Everything's $1.00. Are these type of stores in Florida? If so, maybe we can find some on our drive down to Orlando. Thanks!

Oh! I need to go shopping! I have not been to that store in about 2 months but I love it. We live in Kent (not too far from you!). My kids would love these pens, and so would I LOL.

I was there tonight and there are plenty!! If you go back check at the very end of the toy & candy aisle near the back wall. They are hanging on the toy side down near the floor at the end. They had Mickey & princesses.

I also found some adorable books that you can insert your child's picture in, they had Mickey & Minnie Mouse ! I got a Mickey one for my youngest DS and a Minnie book for my DD. They will love these.

It is so funny that you were at Deals tonight. We needed some stuff at Petsmart, so DH decided to stop by Deals after his class tonight to pick up the Pooh and Mickey pens. I wonder if you two crossed paths and didn't even know it.

Good luck on your finals! We have only have one left that we can either take on Thursday evening or Saturday morning. We are aiming for Thurs. depending on how much we can absorb between now and then. We would rather have our weekend for packing and getting ready for WDW! Less than a week! WOO HOO!
