I took it to mean how many trips not how many days. Sure hope that I am correct since I put in just 1-2 trips and not the 15 days that we were there.

I answered it as trips too. I don't even remember what the question was anymore.... lol

This is my first year applying for the Moms Panel. I have been a follower of the DISboards but normally just lurk around (That sounds bad). I'm hoping to come out of my shell some and join in the excitement with everyone. Best wishes to all and continue to wish upon a star!!!!

Submitted this afternoon...after an error that made me think I lost it all! Took a little lunch break far, far away from my evil PC, and then came back to redo it (luckily I had saved a draft and also had it cached.)

Now, we wait. No butterflies now...but I know they will come back next month!

HELP! I had a malfunction with submitting my application yesterday, and it did not go through. I was about to log in and resubmit my answers just now and guess what..... I have no Disney Log In -- It doesn't recognize me as ever having a Disney account! YIKES!!

I would just make a new one, but I have a trip coming up next month and have this fear that this wills screw up Magic Bands, FastPasses and such.

Advice?

People who made it to round three last year get to skip the essay portion of round one this year. Gary called this the #DisneyMP FastPass.

Interesting! One of his other tweets to someone made me believe they meant for individual days. Thanks!! I feel better that other people read it the same way... I couldn't remember the wording of the question at that point.

When I signed in yesterday I got a prompt that said something to the effect that things had changed with MDE and I needed to update my profile, so I did and then everything else ran smoothly. However, this morning when I logged into MDE I realized it had essentially created a new account for me, but was using my regular email address. Last time we went to WDW, in January, I had to get tech help because I had two different accounts somehow. The one I have submitted my application through was supposed to have been deleted and is not attached to any previous trips

I applied for DCL, so I'm hoping it doesn't hurt me, but I'm not feeling super confident about that this morning!

Did anyone else get an error message about the # of words allowed for question #1? I typed my answer with 2 words to spare, but when I hit to submit an error message came up that said I had to take out 7 words. I agonized over those 7 words! I did delete 7 words and resubmitted. It was then accepted. I thought maybe it was some kind of "test" to see if I could edit down what I had already written.

Perhaps it was just an IT glitch...

I just submitted my application for DVC!! I used my fastpass and also instantly received my round 2 Congratulations screen. I also received the confirmation email, but...

My email said "Applicants who are selected for the next round in the application process will be contacted via email by a representative from Walt Disney World® Resort."

No mention of the fastpass!?! What did your confirmation email say? Did it mention you went straight to Round 2?

What do you mean by Fast Pass? Did you get one from last year?
And how are you getting a Round 2 confirm already?

It's done. Not sure how I feel. I feel really good about some of the answers and 'meh' about some of the others. The how did you hear about the Moms Panel question has been asked before so I had to reword that one from the last time I answered it. I LOOOOOVED answering the practice Moms Panel question. I had previously read that it didn't matter how you answered the number of visits question, but even knowing that I could put the number of days (vs. the number of trips), I went ahead and put the number of trips. I guess 1-2 doesn't sound as impressive as 15, but certainly they'll know from my other answers that I've been more than 1 or 2 days over the past 12 months.

On the bright side, I didn't have any technical issues and received my confirmation email moments later.

I made it to Round 2 the year before last and I was so much more impressed with my answers last year that it was pretty disheartening not to advance again. It's in the hands of the Moms Panel committee gods now.

And how are you getting a Round 2 confirm already?

Those that made it to round 3 last year automatically make it into round 2 this year.

I had the FastPass too, and my confirmation email was the same as yours. Looks like they have one email they're sending to everyone. I wouldn't worry about it if you got that pretty purple "Congratulations" graphic after you submitted your application.

It did this to me. I had 1 to spare and it came back that I was 5 over.
