So I was a little curious... Which Disney princess' castle is in each of the Disney Parks, including worldwide? They say the one in Disneyland Resort Paris is Sleeping Beauty's Castle, but it looks so different from DL's... I'm so confused :(

Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland share an identical clone of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disneyland Paris also has Sleeping Beauty Castle, but it looks much more like the castle in the film Sleeping Beauty than the one in the other two parks. For what it's worth, Disneyland also contains a replica of King Triton's Castle and Prince Eric's castle from The Little Mermaid, the royal palace from Aladdin, and Cinderella Castle in Storybookland. Belle and Snow White currently have no replicas of the castles where they live in Disneyland.

The Magic Kingdom in Orlando and Tokyo Disneyland have identical clones of Cinderella Castle.

I like the castle in paris. It seems more fantasy like to me than all of the others. Of course they have real castles in europe so just having any old castle wouldn't work...It truly had to seem like something out of a fairytale, and it does. I cannot wait to see it in person!! :) *sigh* Someday.

:dance3: Someday... my prince will come. lalalala :dance3:

(Sorry, couldn't resist.... castles, someday, princes, nvm LOL)

The castle in Disneyland Paris is directly influenced by the one in the famous Burgundian 14th century manuscript Tres Riches Hueres de Jean, Duc du Berry. (The Rich Hours of Jean, Duke of Berry - a French/Burgunian royal, who influenced much of life in the late 1300s/early 1400s.)

The book is currently unbound and on display at the Getty museum here in Los Angeles, for the next month or so. Normally it is only displayed 1-2 pages at a time, but now you can see over 78 pages.

It is a bery small Catholic "Book of Hours" or book that details the daily prayers and proper ceremonies of the seasons of the year. These books were famed for their detailed paintings that illustrated daily life and activities that occured in the different seasons of the year. A bit of a Calendar, so to speak.

Disneyland and HK disneyland have identical Sleeping Beauty castles.
Disneyland Paris has a much grander, sleeping beauty castle more like the film.
WDW's Magic Kingdom has Cinderella Castle.
Tokyo Disneyland has a Cinderella Castle with a slightly different color scheme on bottom bricks. (Darker)
