Yes, they are used to keep the charms on, as well as being used to help put it on by yourself. I don't have an issue putting one on without the chain, and prefer my bracelet without the chain.

There are two other ways of "securing" your beads, one is better than the other. The first way is to put a tighter fitting "screw on" bead closest to the opening. This isn't a sure bet as it can still come off. The second way, which is what I do, is to put a "clip" bead right next to the opening. The clips are smaller and will not slip off over the treading at the opening of your bracelet. With the clip right there, no beads have ever come off my bracelet. I hope that make sense; in other words I have 3 clips on my bracelet; Two on the normal spots on the threaded parts of the bracelet and one extra on the bracelet up closest to the opening.

Makes perfect sense. Thank you! I like the clip idea best. I haven't seen a safety chain yet that I like. I don't think I'd want one on my bracelet.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been wanting that one to commemorate my next trip but I was worried it's be gone by the time I get there mid May. I'll get it now & save myself the peace of mind about trying to find it when I'm there!

I haven't been in a Pandora store since the new releases came out, but at least on the Pandora site the new and old Disney charms are showing at the original price before the $5 hike seen via the Disney Store site and now the ShopParks app. Any idea what's up with that?

The latest Disney charms and bracelet have been released online and in the Shop Disney Parks app. This includes all non-exclusive charms rumored for this 3/17 release plus 3 of the new Disney-exclusive charms.

Updated to add info for Aurora's dress, which didn't appear in the online Disney Store until March 28.

With the exception of the new bracelet, all (non-exclusive) charms are $5 cheaper if you buy from Pandora vs. buying from Disney.

The price increase happened in February, I'm not sure why Disney's prices increased when Pandora's prices for the same charms did not.

This really makes the so-called "Disney tax" that much more evident. As in, Disney increases their prices because they can and many/most people will still buy. But I'm not willing to pay an extra $5 per item for the same exact item because I'm buying from Disney. I may be stuck with paying Disney prices for the exclusive charms but I'll be giving my money to Pandora and other jewelry stores for the non-exclusive charms.

If you buy through the app, it's no tax also, which does still make a difference overall.

Most of the time Pandora is excluded from discounts, including DVC.

No, DVC discounts are still allowed on Pandora. I have yet to find anything that my DVC discount won't work on.

Clips are beads that open up and lock onto the threads in the middle section of Pandora bracelets. They prevent the rest of your beads from sliding into another section or you can use them to divide the pattern or decoration of the beads on your bracelet. Clips help to complete the look of your bracelet.

Spacers are small, thin beads that are not fixed in place. They thread onto your bracelet and are used to leave intervals between decorative beads and they also showcase larger and bolder beads. They are great in between murano glass beads!

Do the Chamilia charms fit on the Pandora bracelets?

Typically yes since Chamilia charms are threaded like Pandora. YMMV though, I've heard some people say that some of their Chamilia charms didn't fit.

They won't accept the Pandora cards, since they aren't branded as Pandora stores. The Pandora items are just for sale at Disney. The Starbucks locations are listed as Starbucks locations.
