Thank you bluecruiser! I'm VERY excited for the Epcot flower and Garden charm! I'll be there for F&G this year, and I hope I won't have any problems getting it!

I am still upset and so mad at myself for forgetting to take off my bracelet when we went to the parks because I lost my Belle Tiara that way :(

PRICE INCREASE

I noticed today that Disney increased the prices of almost all Pandora items sold in the online Disney Store by $5. The only ones unchanged are: the 2015 edition; Peace, Love & Mickey; and the 5 tiara charms.

Not sure exactly when the increase took effect, but I'd guess it was sometime this month, or January at the earliest.

I expect this will also affect the prices for the upcoming March 17 release (see my post on January 28).

Wow. So that's like a $10 increase in the last year. When purchased Belle Murano bead June 2015, $45. Then when purchased Elsa & Anna Muranos for DD8 for Christmas, $50. Now February 2016, $55. If Pandora continues to offer free charms up to $65, there goes a lot of Disney charms. I purchased the 2 Muranos $100 exact & got the Elsa dress $65, free. This wouldn't work now. And they would cost $110, not $100.

It was within the last week or two. I definitely noticed because I was pondering buying some charms and was looking at them on the Disney store website everyday as well as the Shop Parks app and they were $5 less on the app compared to the site so I took the plunge before it went up on the app as well.

That's a bummer.... I really like my Disney charms and Pandora is great quality..but I definitely will be in the market for far less Disney charms in the future w/ the price increase trend continuing.

Are there pictures of Marvelous Mickey or the Flower and Garden bead yet? I've googled, but I'm not having any luck.

it still seems the prices on the app have not increased. Weird they would increase the website prices but not the park app prices.

Do they add other characters to these sets? The Cheshire Cat is one of my all time favorite Disney characters and I am hoping he gets added to the Alice collection at some time.

Disney and Pandora have a 10-year agreement that started a little over a year ago, so there's plenty of time left for them to add more charms :)

If you can't wait, Chamilia will be introducing a Cheshire Cat charm as part of their Alice in Wonderland release in April, which won't be released in the US. If you don't mind paying international shipping, you should be able to purchase them online from the UK.

Wow, the Chamilia Alice ones are better.. No chance of them being available in the parks, right?

On our last Disney trip, I planned everything for our immediate family of 4, husband's mom and her new husband, BIL and his girlfriend (total of 8 people). Husband and oldest daughter surprised me with a Pandora bracelet and my first charm. BIL also gave me one as a "thank you" for planning the trip. I am completely smitten with my Disney Pandora bracelet, but don't know much about them. I've started looking for more info...thanks for these posts!!

One major question....how necessary are the safety chain? Am I right in assuming that they are used to keep charms from falling off in the event the bracelet pops open? I want to be able to wear my bracelet in the parks, but won't if this is a common thing.

Yes, they are used to keep the charms on, as well as being used to help put it on by yourself. I don't have an issue putting one on without the chain, and prefer my bracelet without the chain.

There are two other ways of "securing" your beads, one is better than the other. The first way is to put a tighter fitting "screw on" bead closest to the opening. This isn't a sure bet as it can still come off. The second way, which is what I do, is to put a "clip" bead right next to the opening. The clips are smaller and will not slip off over the treading at the opening of your bracelet. With the clip right there, no beads have ever come off my bracelet. I hope that make sense; in other words I have 3 clips on my bracelet; Two on the normal spots on the threaded parts of the bracelet and one extra on the bracelet up closest to the opening.
