I'm sure this question has been asked before but I can't find it when I search so sorry in advance :)

We are going to Orlando in September and the last 2 weeks we are staying on site at Disney :cheer2:

Will we be able to use the tickets on the departure day?

Our flight back isn't until late afternoon, so we like to go to one of the parks on our last morning.

If you can't use tickets, what would be the best/ least expensive way of doing this?

You don't say what tickets you have bought as part of your package but there have been various reports here about the 14-day Ultimate tickets being valid for 15 consecutive days (including the first and last day of use). So it may well be the case that you can use it on your last day.

If not, the alternative could be to spend your last day at Downtown Disney or another alternative where you don't need a ticket :)

Or don't use them the day you switch hotels, so day 14 will be the day you go home. You can check into any Disney hotel before the time your room will be ready (typically about 3pm), and use the pool and food facilities. Where are you staying? Some of the resorts have loads to do. We have spent a whole day doing water sports at the Contemporary in the past and a day boating/cycling at POR. It's good to have a day off from the parks mid holiday I think.

We never go into a park on arrival day so first day of use is day two anyway and our 14 day tickets always work on departure day as we go into a park :-)

In the past you could use a 14 day ticket over 15 day period but could only use 14 days so you need to have a non-disney day somewhere :goodvibes

The cheapest way is probably to buy a 21 day ticket if you want more than 14 days entry as a one day ticket is either $95+tax for MK or $90+tax for the other parks. 21 day tickets are usually only about £25 more.

right, if you want to be sure to have enough days on your ticket, you can upgrade them to 21 days ticket by calling disney UK
as a bonus, having a 21 days could get you into disney before your disney stay (if you're already in orlando) it would only mean paying for transportation or parking.

just count how many park days you have from your first visit and see if you have enough with 14 (the 15th day perk is not something I would base my planning upon)

We are staying at Corondao springs and I booked through Disney direct so got the 14 day ultimate tickets.

We will be getting one of the magic wrist bands and so I just assumed that the tickets were valid from the day you book in rather than the first day you go to a park so we should be ok as we weren't planning on going to a park that day.

Thank-you:)

They are valid from the day you check in but won't be activated until you actually enter your first park.
