My 2 boys and I are going to see High School Musical on Ice on Saturday how long is the show. Need to know cause we have to drive 3 hours to get there :scared1: alone without DH and kinda worried about driving home in the dark on these scary dark Louisiana back roads kinda night blind. Plus taking my best friends DD. Oh and what do u think about the show. Did they have toys and stuff for boys. And adults like shirts and stuff. Thanks in advance :thumbsup2

I've never been to HSM but we've been to about 10 other DOI shows, they last about 2 hrs. 1st part is about an hr, 15 min intermission then about another 45 mins. The last show we did w/ 3 DS was the Princess on Ice & they had some stuff for boys (honestly don't recall what, I think swords & spinning lights)

I took my girl scout troop to HSM on Ice and it was two hours, 1 hr 1st half, 15 min intermission, 45 min 2nd half. It was great. Souveniors were available but I didn't really look at them. The girls didn't have spending money.

We're going on Saturday, too! 3pm show.

We did Monster's Inc. on Ice in Lafayette last year and it was 2 hours. They had TONS of stuff to buy, too. I'm sure they will have boy stuff at the show. They wouldn't want to miss out on someone buying stuff! ;)

Thank you everyone. We have also been to other shows but they were like a 2 hours away and my husband drove so night driving was never a option I just sat and chatted. 2 hours sounds good to me. We just never been to a show mostly
geared towards the girls and my husband says lol BUT Thanks I can't Wait!!!
Tomorrow lol Gotta get my disney fix

I went. It was about 2 hours. They have a lot of stuff that could be an "either way" thing as far as gender.

We went last month and it was about 2 hours long including a 15 minute intermission.

I took my 3 kids and we all loved it!
However, the souvenir prices were outrageous! Most things were a lot more than the tickets themselves. Also, DS9 and DS12 completely disagree that there was a lot of gender neutral stuff. There was a baseball style cap and stuffed animal. Otherwise it was just the regular stuff like a program and snow cone souvenir cups for boys. The overwhelming majority of souvenirs were for girls. DS9 had $ from his grandfather and was very diappointed in the selection. I let each kid get a souvenir cup and then let them spend their $ at the Disney Store.
Great show though!

we went last sunday night at uno in new orleans...it was about 2 hours.....Very nice show.....it was very entertaining. They were all good....they put on a great show.....we enjoyed it...Hope ya'll have fun!!!:thumbsup2

thank u every one the show was great. Troys Bet on it part was awesome!

The kids had a blast and it was such a great show. Took forever to get there then on the way home I found a faster way Everything that could get in the way did. Such as gas station was out of gas then nails on the road :scared1: then no parking we missed the first five minutes but over all it was a great day. After the show since we are a military family I took the kids to see the Navy ship the USS KIDD so nice. I can't wait till the next show :thumbsup2
