Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic is coming near us (Toledo OH). Does anybody have an internet presale that has worked for this show (even in a different city, I know sometimes these codes are recycled?) Any reviews on how the show is? Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Amber

We saw this show in October I believe... It was our first Disney on Ice show and we absolutely LOVED it!

I signed up to receive information newsletter from our local arena and I was sent a link to discounted tickets because of signing up for the newsletter. You might try that! As well, sometime in the past I wrote down "FS7" - which is supposed to be good for any Disney on Ice or RB Circus for the year of 2007. Haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, but it's worth a try!

This show touches on many Disney characters! Of course Mickey and Minnie - there is a Small World act - Mulan and Lion King... and the Princessess! It was a little bit of everything Disney! I'm sure you will love it!

Be prepared for the high cost of concessions and "souvies". Just a little tip - if you can hold the kids off until "after" the show - on the way out of the door - we were offered a Grab Bag of stuff from past shows - for $10! It had a stuffed Mickey, a light-up flashlight type thing, a program from Beauty & the Beast, a frame, there were also 4 Disney on Ice trading pins (which we traded in the parks during our recent trip) stickers, etc. It was well worth the $10!!

As well, if you have a "light up spinner" that you have already bought - tuck that in your purse and take with - even some glow necklaces from the dollar store would go over good - and save some $$.

I hope that code works for you and you have a great time!

We saw the show Dec. 30th. I found it was good, but had recycled elements from previous shows we has seen recently -- The Incredibles (same sets from the DisneyWorld show), Princess Dreams, etc. We didn't mind that at all, but someone might.

This was my first ever Disney production where Pinocchio and Dash were Asian and Mulan wasn't. We didn't find it disconcerting, but we did notice.

We didn't have the "Grab Bag" offer spoken of above, but we did find that the souvenirs were also from previous shows, nothing new. We ended up telling ds he already had the things he would like (and he did), so no souvenirs this trip.

I think that especially if you haven't been before, you will love it. Just don't expect Olympic caliber skating. This production is definitely about the characters and story, not triple axels.

Have a great time!

Thank you guys for the advice! I am crossing my fingers that they have the goody bags at the end of this! That sounds really awesome! We have only ever gone to one other Disney on Ice and it was over a year ago (Lion King, Jungle Book & Tarzan) so I'm not worried about much duplication.

In case it helps anyone else out, I think I figured out some of the codes. I think the FS7 is not a pre-sale password, but it gets you $5 off per ticket once they're onsale to the general public. ZXA was listed on Mousesavers and worked for me. Now I have to decide if I want to do presale for better seats or patiently wait and get the discount. Hum....

Many thanks again!

Anyone from the NY/NJ area know if the goody bags for $10 were available after the Meadowlands show? Heading there Saturday night and would like to hold out for the $10 bags!

I'd love to know too about the $10 grab bags...just ordered tickets for the 7 pm Sunday show. We've been to a bunch of Disney on Ice shows (for our fix) and have never seen this offer...

Thanks!

Guess I'll be the one to let you know. We are headed there in a few hours. Check back late tonight or tomorrow am for an answer.

No $10 grab bags at the Meadowlands show. I got away prett easy. Popcorn and snowcones in Dash and Squirt cups. They were pretty cute cups. My kids can use them for cereal/ice cream as they were more like bowls.

Have a great time!
