Has anyone seen this show? It is in town for the next week and I am very tempted to go but I am not getting very much info on Ticketmaster. It only has the adult tickets $60-$15 and nothing for kids, so I am guessing kids are adults as well.

Is it worth the price to get a "front row seat" or would a cheap seat work? We will either go to AllState arena or see it at the United Center in Chicago for anyone who has any experience with them.

Cheap seats are fine (and actually better) in my opinion. We saw this last weekend and at the IWireless Center in Moline, IL. The 2nd set of seats were nicer because the kids could actually see what was going on- they didn't have to sit on their knees or sit on my lap to see over the people sitting in front of them! Our tix were $15 each - adults and children. Only 1and under were free if they sat in your lap.

Also - if you have a boy - it might not be as entertaining. The Cars skit was at the very beginning and only 15 mins long. The rest of the show was Lion King, Mermaid & Tinkerbell Fairies. The cars were cool though - different than the typical Disney on Ice show we've seen in the past.

Thank you! I am thinking that DS will be so excited to see Cars! But he loves the Lion King and Tinkerbell too! I was late in even knowing about it and all the tickets are picked over. All I can find is $25 ones but since DD is still 1 she is free Wooohoo!!!

I am holding myself back from buying them right now till Dh says yes for sure. But I am thinking I can talk him into it!!!!!

My DH thought the 2nd half was a little long and boring - it was the Tinkerbell Fairies - it was a little more boring than the rest of the show. DH doesn't like to do anything that involves crowds and small seats but he made me proud by going anyways.

We went in September and the show was great. :thumbsup2 The kids DD5, DS3, DS9mths were in awe the whole time. As another poster mentioned the second half did get a little long, they practically did the whole tinkerbell movie.

But all in all I would go. We had moderately priced tickets and our seats were great. Dress warm though. I didn't realize how cold it is in the stadium.

The prices are all the same - kids sit in the same seats as adults so I can understand that - we saw this show for Thanksgiving - it was really good- we enjoyed it more than last's year show HSM. I would not do floor seats though - up a little bit is better so you can see the entire ice.

Wow, this will be interesting. I'll better seen this show in our next trip, my kids will be happy to know this. Hopefully we can.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

I bought the tix and DS and I are going Sunday. DD has been grumpy and running a slight fever so we don't want to risk her being sick. They are coming back in the fall so we can take them both then.

I am so excited to get DisFix!!

I thought the second half of the show was a little long too. I went in November- we had awesome seats- around 5th row. DD6 really enjoyed it.

I'm debating on purchasing tickets also for the show this coming Sunday. How long is the show for those of you who have gone?? My SIL is taking her DD and I am tempted to go with my oldest son who is 3. He loves Cars and saw the commercial. I understand they are only on for a short time but he may still like it, plus he will get to see his cousin. They are 2 months apart and are very close. Anyway, I was just wondering how long the show was. I may leave at intermission depending on how long it is as it sounds like the second half if more about tinkerbell and the fairies and we will be going right around lunch time.

We saw it last weekend. IIRC, I think it was about 2 hours long give or take. I actually liked the Fairies part better, dh liked the first half. Our dds are 5.5, 3, and 2 months. Both of the big girls loved the show. Our 3 year old had no problem sitting for the entire show. She didn't even get up during intermission. Dd5, on the other hand had to go to the bathroom during the first half. Thankfully we ran, and made it back without missing too much.

It was a fun show.

Thank you so much!!! I just bought the tickets. I guess I will play it by ear on whether we leave after the first half. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it through the show as he was able to sit through the movie Bolt at 2.5. I was just worried he'd get bored with the fairies part but who knows. It'll all be new to him so he may enjoy it. Thanks again.

My DS is 3 and I honestly didn't think he would last before we went. He LOVED IT. The only part that he got restless during was the last of the 1st half w/ the Lion King. He sat on my lap during the 2nd half and was glued to it, I was surprised. To me the second half went faster than the first.

The Cars part isn't really that long but it sure made an impression on DS. He was talking about them and the "fire that went BOOM" for a week. LOL

Cars is a staple in my house. If my boys had the choice it'd be on all day long!!! I've memorized that film I tell you. My son wanted to see the show since he saw the commercial. I can't wait to take him.

Trying this out; my first time posting pics here. Anyway, went to the show today. My DS enjoyed it although he did get bored in the second half. Thankfully he had one of those ridiculously expensive dragon light spinners to keep him entertained. LOL We both enjoyed the Cars characters. I thought they were cool. Anyway, here are some pics from the show for those who may want to see it.

Wow, great pics. Looks like you were right on the floor!

Thanks. We were in the second row, although I was upset to find that there were seats available just like 6 rows back of us that were less than half we paid that were available after I bought my tickets. Oh well, I didn't pay for them since we had a gift card from my ILs. My DS had agreat time so that's all that mattered.
