I'm thinking about taking DD to Disney on Ice this weekend, just the two of us....long story short we were supposed to go with the ILs but now that isn't happening, but I still think DD would enjoy it. The cheap seats are only $14 so no biggie if she hates it or we have to bail. Should I go with those or upgrade to the more expensive seats to be closer? Would love to hear from those who have BTDT....I've never been to the place where it is being held (First Mariner Arena in Baltimore) so I have no clue how big it actually is.
Thanks!

We went to a Disney on Ice last year. I think that it all depends on the venue. We paid for the expensive tickets and were three rows from the ice. Personally, if/when we go again I will pay for the middle of the road tickets. It was hard to see where we were since the seats were not stadium seating. Half the kids were having to stand to see. The really cheap seats were in the nose bleed section and I am not sure how they even saw what was going on. I would go to the website and see where the seats are. If they are at the top of the graph/pic then you probably won't be able to see well. That is just my experience base on where it is held here. It may be very different where you are but I doubt it.

It was a blast and we did have a ton of fun. Just be warned that they walk around selling candy, drinks in souvenir cups, and light up souvenirs. So either buy them ahead of time or be prepared. They were not cheap.

We went but it was in Atlanta. Do a search and you may be able to find a discount code then you can get better seats. That's what I did when we went. The one we went to was "Celebrations". It was really good.

We saw it last year on Long Island at a fairly small venue. We had the middle tier of seating and honestly I felt that being up higher was better because you could see the entire rink and view everything that was going on.

I would say go with the cheap seats and have a blast!

We went last year and paid for front row seats. It is hard to see the whole area, but Peter Pan and Tinkerbell were right in front of us for a majority of their portions of the show. Tink waved and winked at my son, and Peter told him hi. He was three at the time and had a ball. It all depends on your child. The people in the rows behind us paid just as much and could not see much at all with us in front of them. I think if you get the middle priced tickets you will be fine. I think the $14.00 tickets may be too far to have a decent view, but then again it all depends on the venue.

I just took my DD this past weekend to Disney on Ice Princess classics. I boug
ht the cheap seats online the night before the show so I knew I would have about the worst seats in the house but I was actually surprised that they weren't too bad. Our seats were on the end where the skaters come out of the "castle" and I thought they would play to the other end of the stage, but it didn't really seem to matter where you sat.

The only thing that I will warn you is that you will likely pay a lot more than $14 for your tickets. My ticket was $15 and my DD's was $10 but my ticketmaster bill was $42 by the time they added on all of the fees and taxes. I didn't even pay the extra $3 to print the tickets online, there was no fee to pick them up at will call.

The other thing to be forewarned about is the overpriced merchandise that they sell at the show that your kids will want. The most popular was light-up things that the kids were using during the show - started at $22. Hit the Disney store or another store ahead of time and find something that lights up and save yourself a lot.

I got a code by calling my local AAA and got the cheap seats here in Raleigh for 9 dollars ! We had a blast and could see well enough for the money. For my younger children, the distance may be a great thing; they like the characters to look exactly like they are "supposed" to and up close they are sometimes disappointed. Just a silly sidepoint.

well, we ended up getting "snowed out" they canceled all the performances due to the blizzard. Maybe next year....

I would not recommend those seats. We went last year in cheap seats (gift from SIL) and we could barely see what was going on. It was so far away that my boys lost interest.

Put in FS22 into the promo code and you'll get cheaper tickets.

We just went to the one Rosemont, IL this past weekend. We were in the upper level 2nd row, and we could see just fine. One year, we went to Monsters on Ice , and were in the second row, we kept getting splattered with ice shavings, not a fun experience.

Nevermind, saw that you got snowed out. Sorry.
