Disney on a Dime 2013

Perhaps consider a shorter trip...?

I thought about that but we go every other year and the airfare is a killer (not to mention the 5 hour flight) so I feel its better to milk as many days as we can out of it.

Way to do some Disney math! Yes, we would be upgrading from premium DL AP, so the cost would be about $200.00 per person (two people) for park admission, park hopping, water parks, DQ and AP discounts @ WDW. For a nine day stay, I think it's worth it.

Did you get your premium APs AFTER the price increase on May 20th? If so, then yes, it would be a little over $200 per person. If you got it before, DL already knows it and will charge you the difference between what you paid for it and what it costs now.

Also, you will have to go to a park at WDW to activate the premier passport for WDW (they use different systems).

Depending on where you stay, you might not park hop. We stayed for 14 nights and only park hopped once. There aren't a lot of dining discounts at all for AP holders (not like they have at DL).

I have to disagree with you on this, there are some dining discounts with the AP alone, but there are a ton of dining discounts with the Tables in Wonderland card.

Probably. I love being able to break up longer trips with time at the minor parks.

Am I able to get Tables being a non resident? Oh my, thanks for the heads up on the glo sticks!

Yes. It is available to AP holders regardless of residency.
