Was a great trailer.
Yeah and that appearance was not who I was expecting. Thought it was someone specific at first, but it’s looking like it’s someone else I wasn’t expecting to see in this series.

I feel like we’re in that Dole commercial where the families are using the word “fruit bowls” to mean other things. Making sure we don’t spoil anything! We’re all so excited but trying to be as coy as possible. I love it!

probably could start a separate thread to talk about things without having to "fruit bowl" it all

We have like 1 or 2 episodes left of the first season. I'll have us watch that really soon so we can watch the trailer for the next season. Really excited for the next season though!

I'm going to do a marathon day on an upcoming weekend and rewatch Season 1 with some friends. I plan to make some "Blue Milk" and maybe other foods, possibly some SWGE recipes.

I don't think that character is who you thought.

Many have been assuming it's someone big when it's someone else actually

I did see WWE retweeted and confirmed that the character in question is played by wrestler Sasha Banks, which has rumors attached to who she is playing

With it being the first African American led character in a Pixar movie, I’m torn on how the reaction would be if it were free (just subscription) vs premier access vs waiting on it to reach theaters.

I know a lot of POC in the film community are getting sick of black animated characters turning into animals (princess and the frog, spies in disguise etc) or like in Soul where he turns into a...Soul.

Not surprising. The very underwhelming performance of Tenet is going to make studios hesitantt or release big budget movies in theaters.

Circumstantially the movie (tenent) had an uphill climb to make money, but it’s also not helped that theaters in California and New York have yet to open. That’s two HUGE box office revenue markets. It wouldn’t have pushed it to a 100M dollar weekend, but it wouldn’t have been nearly as dismal as it was.

yeah but even in places with theaters open many people clearly are not ready to go back to the theater and I'm in the category and I used to go multiple times a week with A-list. Sitting in a closed indoor areas with people who we know are going to take their masks off for 2-3 hours I know I'm not ready for yet and it seems many people are the same.

Tenet was a test to see how ready the public was to go back to the theater. the answer was - not really. The per-theater numbers were simply not good.

Is my mind playing tricks on me or was there a quick appearance of two famous characters with one of the X Wings? I was sure it was when I first stopped the video, but then I saw only one other person mention it yesterday and now think it was just me hoping it was.

I wonder what time period of the MCU this is set? It says that Mark Ruffalo was in talks to appear. Would it be as Bruce Banner or Smart Hulk.

I'd imagine it will be more current, though it's possible to have Mark as Banner in a flashback. Jennifer Walters got her powers after a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce, so they could have that happen in the "past" then catch up to current day. I'm not sure how they could give her a transfusion from a permanent Hulked-out Banner (nor would I think that's a good idea) - of course that's assuming they use that story at all, but that's how the comics did it. She-Hulk has always been permanently a Hulk, but her mind was unaltered. It sounds like they want to play this as a comedy, which suits the character. Her best run of comics was one in which she became acutely aware that she was in a comic book - think like Deadpool with lots of meta jokes. It could be fun!
