Fiege says that the first couple of eplisodes were kept around 30 minutes for the sitcom feel. The episodes are suppose to get longer as the series goes along.

They did say it’s 6 hours. 9 episodes at 30 minutes would fall almost 2 hours short of that mark, so it makes sense that it would get longer as we get deeper into the storytelling. I figured the sitcom feel would only last the first episode and things would start to heat up in the 2nd episode. But that was also when there were only 6 episodes speculated

so everybody talks so fast you can Hardly understand them? Lol.

I’m largely a fan of his work. Though I don’t like Social Network as much as a lot of people do. But yeah, his writing does have a pacing that could be hard to follow through the dialogue. But I think that style could work in Star Wars. Especially in what should be a fast pace movie like Rogue Squadron.

I meant it as a joke. I like a lot of what sorkin does. But you can always recognize his work with the fast pacing. Blink and youve Missed 3 sentences.

I’ll still see it in theaters, if NY theaters aren’t open yet, I’ll drive to CT for it. I went to see WW84. If I can sit through that movie for 2.5 hours, it would be an insult to the MCU to not do the same for BW. I’m still excited for the movie. Not necessarily the “how we got from Civil War to Infinity War” part, but the overarching story that inevitably connects to the future of the MCU

I don’t think they’ll have much choice unless they delay it again.

That ability goes out the window starting Friday. Even though it’s a “midquel”, the time for delaying the MCU films has come and gone. It’s unfortunate, and they are going to lose money, but they can’t pause the MCU any longer.

I don’t think I would. This is the first MCU movie I really have no desire to see right away. Knowing she’s already dead I don’t really care about her back story. And watching Hopper do a fake Russian accent seems like it will get old really quick.

I think I will wait and see what people say about it and how critical it is to see it "now" vs waiting until it is available for free on Disney+

And that time delay will play a role in my decision - the fact it was only a few months for Mulan made it easier for me to wait vs pay the extra $

I will have zero issue paying to see Black Widow. My family has been waiting impatiently since it was announced to see this movie, and Black Widow is my daughter’s favorite character. Movie theaters likely won’t be open here by May, but even if they are I don’t feel it’s worth the risk to us to go.

Usually May theater releases drop on physical in September, so it would be available on D+ In October with that same model. And I seriously doubt we see any impact from Black Widow in any property’s through Loki, Shang Chi, or What If? and probably not until Hawkeye in Late 2021. So you wouldn’t need to hold off on any of the D+ shows to stay unspoiled before BW became free on the service

Yeah, I'm gonna delay, too. I would have seen it in theater pre-Covid, but now I'm spoiled with HBO Max and D+, and have enough blockbusters rolling in every month that I'm sure I'll get behind anyway...

As a one and done, it really is the easiest thing to not open the pocketbook for...

I'm the same. Im much more tempted for Black Widow as I've been waiting for it, but after waiting a year already a couple extra months to get it for free isn't bad. Hoepfully can jsut go to the theatre here anyay.

Speaking of rolling content. Netflix announced they’ll have 71 movies premiering in 2021, at least 1 per week. Now, subjectivity aside, they’ll probably only release about 5 movies that are any good, but it’s still content...for $200 a year
