I see the master plan....make everyone have to make one decision at 7a for free and then pay for the rest. Brilliant really.

Yeah…and for those of us that are not morning people, this whole system really sucks. We never rope drop, and it was manageable with only the DHS day needing that 7am attempt for a BG. With everything happening at 7am, vacation is going to mean setting an alarm more than we do at home…

I can see families getting a BG for remy and then purchasing another top tier ride to maximize their day....and then go back to bed.

Sorry, not sure what that means.
It had already been announced that you could purchase your first LL at 7am (which would include ROTR and Remy), and ROTR VQ was already 7, so the only thing that hadn't yet been announced was Remy VQ (which is free). Which is why that had to be the only thing being discussed, unless I'm confusing myself.

What about with Park Hopper Tickets? Maybe?

If you had HS for your park reservation and planning to PH to Epcot, then you would miss both Remy VQ's at 7am and 1pm at Epcot. So no VQ for you, only $LL available for Remy in that case. If Remy was around at 2pm when you were in the park, then maybe. But that's hard to predict on a ride that isn't open yet.

I was there last week and was up early every day..even after closing food and wine and stumbling back to Boardwalk...something about being there....getting my BGs at 7a it was as if I was the only one up sitting on my balcony. ..it was very peaceful. My family didn't appreciate it as much

Not to throw more at this but there are also changes coming to the Virtual Queue system as well.

This is me. I often close down Gurgling suitcase and stumble back to turtle pond then get up at 5 to head to the golf course. Then do it all again day after day! Hate to waste time sleeping at home, let alone at WDW.

I've had a bit of a family medical issue going on these past few days and have not had time to read the G+ announcement in detail. Came here today during a break to try to get the quick scoop and now I'm royally confused. Genie Plus, Lightning Lane, two different things... can be purchased independently or together (or not)? So confused... I'm going to have to wait until I have a full day to try to figure this out. Ugh.

When PP stated getting, I believe, either a BG or the LL for ROTR and Remy on the same day. I thought he may have been talking about a LL which a person may be able to if they have a park hopper ticket. I'm not sure yet.

I’m wondering how fast the paid LL spots will fill. I sure hope there will be time to go back and snag one if you are unsuccessful getting a free BG.

Just to clarify, the video showed the system saying you couldnt have a new one until your first one was used, implying you can only hold one at a time. I havent seen any evidence to suggest they will let you get a second one before you use the first one.

Folks are speculating (and hoping) it will be like MaxPass and not screw you out of a whole day of passes because you got one late in the day. Or your Genie+ pass will basically just be another paid lightning pass for $15.

Do what the rest of us plan to. Go for the VQ/BG first then if you don't get it, fork over the $LL fee. Also good if you want to ride it twice in one-day.

We’re already talking about having everyone up trying different queues - one person for ROTR virtual queue, one for LL$ ROTR and one for Genie+.
… Yep. This scheduling is stupid Disney. It’s like all three pieces were never coordinated.

Well the Boarding groups are normally 5 seconds max. Maybe with more choices it will be more..or it will be..
