Absolutely...most of the issues right now are due to money...they're not idiots; they have experts that have been advising them both from a health standpoint and economic...they knew full-well that they've been seeing an increase in crowds and that they could have started bringing entertainment back months ago...there was a way to do most safely, but they chose to not spend the money on it. Definitely disappointing for their customers.
And it helped tremendously that the crowds continue to come without them. Why spend the money when the parks are packed without them? We get what we demand with our $$$$.

The Boardwalk main pool had pool servers. I’ve never seen them before… not sure if it’s new or new to me. 😊 🍹
I've only stayed deluxe once, GF in 2019, and they had poolside servers then. I assumed it was a deluxe thing, but I could've been wrong.

Wow!!! So cool! Thank you for sharing that :). I watched pieces just now but will watch it all later (changing resorts today).
I'm kinda regretting not staying at the Poly beach last night when we took the boat back there from MK, lol. There were people gathering at 10 pm at that point but we were just too tired and not knowing what time they'd do it.

How amazing, and it's all finally happening SOON!! :mickeyjum:goofy::tigger::smickey::tink:

From plenty of posts on the board it seems that Disney is allowing a high capacity of people with nowhere for them to eat or go (limited shows, limited restaurants). Which is causing long waits for food and long lines for rides. I haven’t been since covid so I go by what I read here.

I actually haven't experienced any issues for waits for food at Disney World yet. Lots of staff seem to be working and everytime I've mobile ordered there's been an immediate opening window. Same with the busses either- everytime we get in line regardless of time of day a bus pulls up within 5 mins. It's been great! We'll see how it goes the rest of the week but so far so good! 🤞

We paid for breakfasts at the HP restaurants both mornings just so we could ensure our kids got a frozen butterbeer each day. There was NO way I would wait in the lines we saw for them otherwise. Food lines were insane

Universal was such a mess- definitely soured the experience for me. We did our day there first and when we got to Disney I felt like a sad child running into my moms arms. 😂 "Hold me Disney, it was so scary there!"

why is this. Is there because there is not enough restaurants open and lack of staff?
From what I can see, between mobile ordering having started to happen in Disney prior to the pandemic and what seems to be glitches in ticketing (I have seen some stories here on the boards that make me go 'wait what how did that happen?" it just was a whole timing issue.
