DAS- "If Disney determines that any of the statements a Guest made in the process of obtaining DAS are not true, the Guest will be permanently barred from entering Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, and any previously purchased annual passes, Magic Key passes, tickets and other park products and services will be forfeited and not refunded. "

Not sure what this means. Are they are going to ask for a doctor's note or something?

Seriously thinking every one is going to buy Rise of the Resistance passes and there will be nothing left for free, especially those who have been unable to get Boarding Groups historically...and who is going to pay extra $ for Space Mountain!?

I feel like the people who struggle and have been unable to get BGs are the ones who will end up throwing money at the problem so to speak. There’s no way I’d spend money to ride Rise when I’ve had zero issues getting a BG for it. Especially when you’re limited to 2 premium rides per day.

This is actually less painful than I thought it would be though. I just hope “fall” is sooner than 10/1 because that would be total chaos.

A lot of this planning stuff can be done already on Touring Plans for a lot cheaper.

Edited: Appears the planning aspect is free with the Genie without having to purchase Genie +. Will still use Touring Plans however as I think the Genie will be used to control crowds in the parks (for good or for bad) similar to how the wait times are being manipulated in the parks currently.

but not buying your way onto rides. Which is the whole point of Genie and has been since the beginning. If you or anyone else thought otherwise you were naive.

I was talking about the aspect of planning your day. Obviously cannot buy rides through a 3rd party App.

Individual attractions at the start of the service:

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Rise of the Resistance (WDW and DL)
Remys Ratatouille Adventure

Radiator Springs Racers
Web Slingers

ETA: This is only current list of known attractions on the individual attractions list (according to Disney Food Blog), apologies for the confusion

Okay I'm really confused now, are these all extra in addition to the $15/$20 per day? Or included with it?

Yeah but the average person has no idea Touring Plans exists. Even people who do, on here, don’t know what a TP sub buys, cuz there’s a thread right now on TPAS about it. Much less the type of person in the pre-covid parks who bought tickets day of and thought FP+ cost money.

I’m not even mad about it because you have to imagine Disney wants those folks using Genie (and more importantly buying G+) instead, for their own data purposes. But I’m sure Lines will continue to be more accurate...I very easily see them wanting to steer people towards certain attractions by monkeying with the suggestions just like they’ve always played games with posted wait times.

What if a CM is getting me in for free? I technically don't have a ticket so would I be able to use this service?

I did ponder the 11th, but as I was laying out out days I figured out this "Disney park day strategy"

Nov 10th (arrival day) - and should be Deluxe guests extended evening hours @ MK- which make up for arriving at noon
Nov 11th: Epcot - since there is a delayed opening we can sleep in a little after being at MK late the night before
Nov 12th: HW - leave mid-afternoon and take a "rest" at the hotel....and then pop over to MK for Merriest Party!
Nov. 13th: Epcot - and once again use that delayed opening to our advantage and catch up on a little bit of sleep!

Nov. 14th: ugh..we leave....sob...

Your plans are very close to ours.

Nov 11th = arrive early evening (Staying at AKL). No park plans. Spend time at resort, possibly DS. Figured party would be too much after working in the morning then travel
Nov 12th - HS in the morning (first time for my DH) DD is so excited to show him Galaxy's Edge. Rest at resort. MK for the Merriest Party.
Nov 13th - Sleep in after party. Epcot.
Nov 14th - HS again and possible PH to another park
Nov 15th - Hang out at resort, possible DAK, early evening flight.

DD is currently working at Epcot on the College Program and is excited to have DH there. He hasn't been since Spring 2018 so a lot of changes in HS and Rat will be open.
