I am trying to find out now. Talked to two different CMs on chat, both of whom said they have not been provided specific info about early purchases yet. I am currently on hold on the AP line to see if they know anything or can escalate to someone who may be able to tell me. I will let everyone know.
Thank you for your time sacrifice in the service of the general knowledge 😆

Currently at 1 hr and 5 mins, and I just realized I probably should have called the events ticket phone number on the blog instead of the AP line! 🤪 Oh well, it's good practice for what I am afraid the answer will be once someone who actually knows can tell us!

There will never be a MNSSHP or MVMCP ever again.

Like everything there will be a season for different things, right now while Disney rides this travel boom that really has been growing for the past 8 years things will cost more and such, but in time something will burst it , the economy is a cycle. So when budgets drop so will other things morph and change again. Honestly this new event could be so much better if the crowds are low like boo bash, the old parties were barely worth it anymore.

Wow, these prices are no joke. I’ll be passing since I don’t know if my group can stay awake that long, but I’m sure it’ll be a fun time for those that don’t mind the price.

I used to avoid DL because I could get more vacation at WDW for less. I think this middle of the country gal is headed to the west coast.

Looks like I am going to be eating a LOT of counter service in December to pay for this! :faint:

We did MVMCP once and it was very crowded. My daughter said she’d be fine never doing another one. I would be open to attending one of the AHs if it’s a great experience and I feel it’s worth it for us. Adding fireworks and a parade is a huge plus.

OK - I finally spoke with guest services, and the CM said that they received information which specifically stated that early purchases by resort guests could be made either online or by phone, just like the general public later on the 20th. I asked her a couple of times to be sure I understood, and she said they actually received two notes on this, one concerning early sales for resort guests as of 8/17 and another for sales to the general public beginning 8/20. She did not know what time for online. Please don't rely solely on this, however. I plan to try both methods on Tuesday.

I think you have a typo in there on the dates. They're not both 8/17, are they?

I just received the e-mail about early booking as a resort guest from Disney Destinations. There is a link for get more details but it just takes me to the page with information about the party. No mention if we have to call or can make reservations on line. Maybe another email will come out with that information closer to Tuesday. DH and I will be there visiting our DD who is on the college program so are planning on going. Only there for a long weekend so was happy to see that it is offered for 3 days while we are there.

Thank you so much for sharing this!

Normally I complain but still go, but this have reached a level of no thanks for me 😔.
I'm feeling the same way. I have a NYE weekend trip planned, but had been watching for Xmas After Hours news on the off chance that I'd want to reschedule to a pre-Xmas trip with an After Hours event. But $916 to $1000 for my family of 4 (not including tax)... on top of sky-high holiday resort pricing? I'm pretty good at rationalizing the price of Disney travel and shuffling plans to offset (or pay for) other plans... but roughly $1000? I don't think I can stomach that. I thought Boo Bash was high, but these tix are about $100 higher. Wow.

this'll be mine and my husbands first time going for a major holiday so we are for sure buying xmas party tickets!! thought the 17th was a monday and i'd have to get up early to buy tickets, but seeing as i was wrong and its a tuesday my husband is off work and will be up in time to purchase the tickets :)

So I will need to mentally prepare for that torture again. I can't remember what event it was for, but I do remember having an 8 hour wait once. You would think they could find a better way. Oh well, maybe, maybe, maybe early purchases can be done online this time.

After hours of trying the conventional way, I ended up only being able to get through to member services on the Spanish line. Had to navigate all the automated prompts in Spanish.

The really fun part of that is that I don't speak Spanish.

I sincerely hope we can just buy these online this time.

Wow a real parade 🎄🤶 edit: and “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

The wording says “Disney Very Merry After Hours“🤞hoping there is low attendance. We stopped attending the parties due to overcrowding, wasn’t worth it

But they can't bring back the parade during regular hours.....someone explain to me again those reasons about staff shortages and safety excuses. Guess if you want to see a parade, you're going to pay extra for it.
