Totally thought they were through with stories today!! Now to get ready for 8 hour phone call!!

😍 I know many of you have been waiting for this announcement
Edit: too expensive for us :guilty:
Wow! Yeah. I wonder if it'll be lower attendance capacity.
We spent $125 each for MVMCP Dec '19 and it was so crowded not worth the money to us really to ever do again. I'd be willing to spend a bit more for better experience but that's quite a price hike!

Kind of yikes on those prices, but I'm 100% part of the problem because I'm totally going.

We're just not going to total up my parks spending this year 🤣

The article says "with a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch, and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner" With the potential for a very limited menu, is this effect of a supply issue or just more cost reduction measures ?
I think it’s to prevent what happened at BOG - people made ADRs and ordered one cupcake to split, just so they could see inside the castle.

ETA sorry, posted this before I read the three pages between the post I quoted and mine. I should have known plenty of y’all would point this out!

Boo bash - outrageous prices with $200 for certain nights.

Very Merriest AH - hold my beer

The wording says “Disney Very Merry After Hours“🤞hoping there is low attendance. We stopped attending the parties due to overcrowding, wasn’t worth it

Hard NO from me. I paid $104 for the Christmas party in 2019, and it was an hour longer. These prices are INSANE!

This time, I will be, too. We skipped Boo Bash for different reasons, but we hope to go to Very Merriest. I am going to try to confirm that early purchases beginning 8/17 can be made by resort guests online. I know the website says online or by phone, but I would like to confirm early will be available online, too.

I am also part of the problem. This is my first ever Disney Christmas and I’m gonna live it up or die trying 😂😂

That would be nice to know. Also, what time of day will they go on sale on the 17th?

I am on chat now, and this person seems helpful. I am also on the passholder line now waiting to talk to someone. I will cross-check their info and report back!

What does "select resorts" mean? Could this be deluxe only? Or maybe just WDW resorts? I'm running the Wine and Dine the day before the first event, I'd love to convince my husband to stay an extra night. (Who am I kidding, with Veteran's Day on Thursday I might as well stay all week. I'll offer to drive down - I'll take him to the airport)

Stay all week :)

Normally I complain but still go, but this have reached a level of no thanks for me 😔.
Doing this on a non park day is my plan. We have one built in. It will save us from going back/hopping to MK again after going there the first day and now the off day. The ice cream and popcorn can do us for supper.
