Missed this yesterday but Fireworks Cruises are back. Information can be found here as far as booking them:

Specialty Cruises

The dessert based Cruises, and the Pirates Adventure Cruises are still unavailable at this time.

Just got off the phone with Disney, they are booking but only through the end of July currently. She expects them to open up beyond that in the next few weeks once the fireworks times are released. She also mentioned that it can only be booked at 60 days out, apparently she had multiple calls this morning trying to book them for November and December.

We did an Illumination Cruise a few years ago, but never have done one for the MK fireworks. It's tempting, but so much of HEA is the projections that I'm not sure it's really worth it.

We did a cheap (free) version of a fireworks cruise last week. Took the boat from Wilderness Lodge to MK right before fireworks started. Switched to the Poly boat at MK and watched the remainder of the fireworks from the Poly boat. Got ice cream (incentive for the kids) and headed back.

We did the MK cruise years ago when it was still Wishes, and it was amazing, but you're right, with HEA you'd miss so much without seeing the projections. How was the Illuminations Cruise? We're trying to get the Epcot Forever cruise in September, although I wish it were still Illuminations!

We loved it! They cruise around the lagoon for a bit, then park the boat just near the bridge for the show. Our captain flew across the lagoon afterwards and dropped us off at HS so we could catch Fantasmic afterwards. It was my girls birthday and he got people watching from the walkway to sing Happy Birthday to them. lol It was fun and I'd do it again. I'm with you though, I miss Illuminations, but hopeful the new show will be amazing. I'm not sure I'd pay that price for EE- we were very unimpressed when we saw it. To be fair, it was opening night and lots of glitches- couldn't hear the music, kites dropping into the water- it was really bad. lol
