This is odd.

Our 60 day window opened today at 6am. We also waited until now to do Park Reservations around available ADRs. Was able to make all our Park Reservations except for Wed Sept 15 because the system won't let us. I've been trying all day with all 4 parks, but MDE won't let me APR for 9/15/21. Is it glitch related? Likely. Or maybe Magic related? Oooh...

Very surprising to see it end so quickly after starting. All I can think is it somehow created more headaches than offering it was worth. Maybe they'll bring it back some point in the future?

If our issue today was caused by that, then yes it caused headaches! ETA: it took away a lot of capacity and slowed the loading of actual BGs.

According to Disney: "Operating daily, service will begin one hour before EPCOT park open and end one hour after EPCOT park close."

As part of this change, direct bus service to EPCOT will no longer be available from these hotels (and effective dates):

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – July 25
Disney’s Contemporary Resort – July 25
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – mid-August

Much, thank you. Would have preferred to leave DHS earlier than we did, but had to wait for ROTR. Back to shower after being caught in the storm and then off to Epcot for dinner.

That seems like what they are implying, and leaving it as mid-August gives some flexibility for any additional construction or inspection delays that may happen!

I've never booked a VIP tour. Does anyone know how many tours they book each day?

At a max of 10 people per tour I'd be surprised if VIP tours would make a lot of difference in the daily volume of guests that can ride RotR but possibly I'm underestimating the number of people who book these pricey tours.

That’s kind of what I’m thinking. There’s no hard date, so that gives them some wiggle room if it’s delayed a little or can open a little earlier.

Based on other threads, I think the number of tour groups increased exponentially after the RotR access was announced.
