We just got back last week and wait times weren't bad if you showed up early (or stayed late) and had a plan. I lined up for an AK opening of 8AM at the bus stop at 630AM. We arrived at AK before 7AM and lined up. We were the second group in line for park opening because we got there so early and then walked right onto FOP. But you do have to be ahead of the pack of people to achieve that, like others said. If you're not, better zig while others zag and go to another ride. We also rode FOP at park close, hopped in line right before close, and waited maybe 40 minutes? Not bad at all.

Things are different and we definitely miss the entertainment too but we had a wonderful time. So much more was open and 'normal' this time compared to our trip in Nov. If you plan your trip convinced you're going to be miserable well..... then you will be. We went into it with a good attitude and just tried to be flexible. Plus we were there the first night fireworks returned- that experience was so emotional and beautiful. We had a great time.

So how about that Disneyland xmas news? We barely got anything so far! I appreciate seeing Animal shop but like tell me moreeeee.

Glad you had a great time! I can’t imagine the excitement seeing HEA the first night! It must’ve been awesome!

I have been here 3 days so far. Rope drop and coming back later has worked for 2 days to minimize wait times, but today was a hot mess. It was way more crowded and all the rides had issues. We were unable to get on or got stuck on everything we tried to do. So while I am not expecting to get everything done without FP, doing something and not having it breakdown would be nice. If I were paying for FP in this environment I would be livid. I’m hoping tomorrow is less like today and rope drop will be more effective.

I was just checking “special offers” and it looks like Disney has cleared out everything except the 25% off room offer...maybe they will put up something new although with the way everything is sold out I guess they have no need to offer discounts...
Oops never mind somehow I got screen for Canada instead of US...not sure how that happened

Mine is doing the same thing. Only 2 offers. Not sure how to turn it off Canada mode, I’m mobile.

Bummer, sorry to hear there were so many breakages . Hope you have a successful rope drop today and it's more like your first two days!

She was actually at WDW for an extended trip and then just got back a few days ago but said she was very busy so she wouldn't be able to post much for the next few weeks.

Id expect nov/dec to be very very busy every day since it always is a busy time.
