That courtyard could use a show. I always thought an Encanto show would be a worthy replacement, especially after watching it at the Hollywood Bowl.

I thought when the show closed (several years pre-Covid (I think), they has said it was not reopening. I may be remembering that wrong.

So, what are we still waiting on to reopen at this point that closed because of the 2020 closure and subsequent events? I know a few restaurants like 1900 park fare, but are any other rides/attractions still not reopened? (Not talking about stuff getting refurbed or built like Tron)

I'm waiting on the Tea Room at the Grand Floridian. I know, not an attraction, but I'm still waiting. I go back in March and will have so much to do since I last went during covid! Railroad, peoplemover, laugh factory, enchanted tales, crush...I am going to need a longer trip!

New Wayfinding Theming Added to New EPCOT Parking Lot Signs
As we continue to track the EPCOT parking lot work (dating back to August 2022), we spotted new theming on the newly installed parking lot signs. The splash of color will be used for wayfinding, as other parking lots will have different colors. Here’s a look at the signs from our walk into EPCOT this morning. As a reminder, we think that EPCOT parking lots couldget a rename as part of the new signage, but we’ll have to wait and see on that.

TWO Waterslides Are Closing For Refurbishment At Disney’s Aulani Resort

From February 20th through March 10th, Aulani’s Tubestone Curl Tube Slide will be closed for refurbishment.

The Volcanic Vertical Body Slide will also be closed from January 16th through February 3rd.

Today, we are thrilled to share that the night sky will shine even brighter this summer as a shimmering new fireworks display premieres on select “Silver Anniversary at Sea” itineraries!

Created in honor of Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary, the limited-time evening extravaganza will uphold the cherished Disney tradition of fireworks and honor Disney’s continuing legacy of adventure. The dazzling spectacle will be set to the tunes of iconic and beloved Disney music, and anchoring the show will be a brand-new signature song created especially for the “Silver Anniversary at Sea.”

The 25th anniversary fireworks show will be featured on most Bahamian, Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises this summer.

Say “Cheers” During a Shimmering Soiree​

A captain’s reception is a well-known cruising tradition that has been enjoyed by Disney Cruise Line guests since the very beginning. In honor of our “Silver Anniversary at Sea,” we are reimagining this time-honored event into a one-of-a-kind celebratory experience, adding an extra dose of magic to sailings this summer.

On one evening each cruise, guests will be invited to join their ship’s captain and cruise director in the atrium for an anniversary toast. The festive affair will feature appearances from Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse — dressed for the occasion in their shimmering new looks, of course! — and a delightful rendition of the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” theme song.

NEW: Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disneyland will use a virtual queue when it opens on Jan. 27. Guests will need to join via the Disneyland app. There will be no traditional standby on opening day. The ride will also be available as an Individual Lightning Lane purchase.

The Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway virtual queue enrollment times will be twice daily, at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. PT.

TRON Lightcycle Run Cast Member Preview Dates Announced
Disney World Cast Members now have more information about when they can preview TRON Lightcycle Run. Starting Janaury 30th, eligible Cast Members will be able to register for preview days between February 6th and March 3rd ahead of the ride’s official opening on April 4, 2023.

Each registered Cast Member can bring up to three friends or family with them to the preview.

It’s likely that Annual Passholder previews will take place shortly after Cast Member previews end in early March.

The answer to your second part of the question is yes. Both Batuu East (WDW) and Batuu West (DL) will have the same scrap metal for every build once the refresh is complete. East is getting them in a different order than West did. West is already completely refreshed.
