Baby Hedgehogs born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom



Not 1 or 2 but SEVEN Baby Hedgehogs were just born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Mom, Glitter Toaster Strudel, gave birth to seven lesser Madagascar tenrec hedgehogs at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Disney Enchantment To Be Replaced by Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks During Christmas Week at Magic Kingdom

During Christmas week, Disney will not present Disney Enchantment fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Instead, Disney will present Minnie’s Christmastime Fireworks from December 23rd – December 29th at 8:15pm, nightly. Here’s a look at the schedule over the next couple of months:

• November 8 – December 22 (select nights): Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (10pm)
• Now – December 21 (select nights): Disney Enchantment during nights WITHOUT Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (8:15pm)
• December 23-29: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks during normal operating hours (8:15pm)
• December 30, 31: New Year’s Eve Fireworks
• January 1, 2023: Return to normal Disney Enchantment schedule

Disney typically offers much of the entertainment from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for free during normal operating hours on Christmas week, so the departure from showing Disney Enchantment isn’t wholly unexpected, but perhaps would’ve been overlooked if Enchantment was a better 50th Anniversary show. Disney World has shifted messaging on Disney Enchantment from Magic Kingdom’s new nightly fireworks show (read: beyond the 50th Anniversary) to a limited offering during the 50th Anniversary, due to poor guest reception. Disney even updated the Disney Enchantment fireworks show to include more nostalgia less than a year after it debuted.

Adventures by Disney Launching First Adriatic Sea Cruises in 2024​

In 2024, Adventures by Disney will launch their first expedition cruises in the Adriatic Sea. Expedition cruises in Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Galapagos Islands will also be available.

The two Adriatic Sea cruises will be 8-day, 7-night round-trips from Venice, Italy. They will visit ports in Croatia and Montenegro on the PONANT ship Le Bougainville, “a small, purpose-built intimate ship, specially designed to access remote locations.”

It's pretty crazy to me that they don't do the holiday parade and fireworks regularly ourside of parties.

My family and I did the Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package a few years ago and my mom STILL talks about how bad the food was and how it wasn't worth the money lol

Disney has announced that there will be a multi-month celebration of Wakanda Forever at Avengers Campus kicking off November 11, 2022 and running through January 8, 2023. Here’s the announcement:

They need to stop making so many wonderful things that I really want to spend money on. ABD is so tempting, but SO pricey.

H&V is not only the worst meal I have ever had on Disney property, it ranks pretty high up among the worst meals I have ever had in my life. Plus my table and entire seating area were just so, so sticky. Never, ever again!

Disney Visa 100th Anniversary Metal Card Coming Soon for Premier Members​

Chase, Visa, and the Walt Disney Company have announced a multi-year expansion of the Disney Visa Card program, including a special Disney 100th anniversary metal card available to Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers next year.
The new, limited-edition card will be released in January 2023. It will be available to new and existing Disney Premier Visa Cardmembers during the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration. The design has not been released yet.

Disney Resort Guests to Have Access to Additional Dining Reservations

Starting this past Tuesday, October 18, select table-service restaurants at Disney Resort hotels will set aside a limited number of reservations exclusively for Disney Resort hotel Guests to book for dates during their stay.

Guests with a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation may get access to these dining reservations when they are available. To gain access to these dining reservations, Disney Resort hotel Guests must link their hotel reservation and book on DisneyWorld.com or via the My Disney Experience app.




The number of these Disney Resort hotel Guest reservations is limited and varies daily. Disney Resort hotel Guest reservations are subject to change and may be unavailable on certain dates, including peak periods or during special dining events.
